Apartment vacation rentals in Plaza Area, Kansas City

I was in town for an event at the convention center downtown. For me, this property was simply a place to sleep. It was great. Very clean, easy to park, easy to get into, neighbors are quiet. No smell of weed inside the unit. Clear, proactive communication from the host with quick responses. I would stay here again.

The apartment has amazing views of the city. It was a beautiful place to stay and close to the streetcar and all that downtown has to offer. I will definitely stay again next time I am in Kansas City.

We have stayed in many AirB&Bs and this home in Overland Park is the best one we’ve stayed in! It was squeaky clean, had quality craftsmanship, tastefully decorated, well stocked with anything you may need, a comfortable bed, and the perfect location! I appreciate that Cheryl and Steve warmly greeted us upon arrival, and were available next door if we needed them. However, they also gave us plenty of privacy. We didn’t cook, but there was a full kitchen we could use if we stayed longer. We appreciated the washer and dryer and closet to hang up clothing as well as the comfortable sleeping cots for our two young kids. The huge Farmers Market was temporary relocated behind the AirBnB, which made a perfect place to get breakfast on Saturday morning. Down the street there was a playground and a park, which would be nice place to go with littles. They also have a swing set in their yard, which was nice for our kids to get the wiggles out before we hit the road. We will return for sure!

We loved Nicholas’s place! The apartment looked exactly like the photos and he was super responsive any time we messaged him.

This was the second time I stayed in this place. It provides everything I need for a relaxing me time get away. Absolutely love Tami, she’s amazing!

Concierge was very polite and helpful. Parking was very quick with easy access to the key fobs and elevator. The apartment was clean, cute and comfortable. Communication was top notch!

We had a wonderful stay at the house! It’s such a cozy and charming space, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cute, welcoming spot to stay.

Great location in Overland Park! Private entrance and parking, easy check in and out. Perfect for a quick KC trip, you will need a car!

Had a great stay! Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Jacob gave helpful instructions on getting inside prior to my arrival. Very nice setup and plenty of space. The shower had great water pressure. Coffee was available for mornings. Easy to get to events in KC, but located in a quiet area. Would stay again!

Great location and walkable to green spaces in KC. Loved having different places to relax in the space and very well kept and comfortable.

You CANNOT beat the location for the price. Overall this rental was exactly what we were looking for as far as being close to the river market but having a kitchen and try and save a bit instead of a hotel. We had some issues with cleanliness but they weren’t egregious and I got the impression that it was likely an accidental miss by the cleaners. A few things to note: the building is historic and not only are there stairs plentiful but they are steep and a little uneven. It was fine (if a workout) but if you have any mobility issues at all, friend this one isn’t for you. Also, the building is primarily an office building and directly below is an office that had people working at 9am on Saturday and when I say that I could hear every word they said from my bed I am not exaggerating but ironically the street was super quiet most of the time. Lastly, either ask for extra towels or bring your own bc they give you a minimum and no toiletries. For the money it was ultimately great for us!

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few minor issues like trash left behind on the porch and the couch bed was dirty when pulled out, but Kevin and Ashley were responsive and took care of them quickly. The smell and noise were not anything the hosts could control, it was very definitely other guests in the same building who had weed and were noisy. It was not too bad, just definitely noticeable and more so because I have small children who were trying to sleep. As far as location, it’s right off The Paseo so not an area I’d “take my kids for a walk in” but good in terms of location for the activities we had planned and it was easy to get in and out of.

Ashley is the host you want when things go wrong in an Airbnb. The AC was busted the first day we checked in, but she had someone come out and repair within 24 hours, I would highly recommend this AirBnB for KC.

Ana’s place was exactly like described. Just a short drive to local restaurants and shopping. It sits right near the highway which makes it very accessible to other places.

Angie was a great host and the apartment was just as described. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay there and would stay again if we ever need a place for a night or two in KC!

Really nice place for a few week’s stay. Quiet, clean, lots of room. Nice design choices. A block from Whole Foods, coffee shop, walking trail. Very short drive (or walk) to park and loads of restaurants and shops.

Very cute and comfortable place. Lovely creperie a short walk around the corner. Love the large communal spaces: big dining table, good sized living room and lots of seating. Very charming. Lots of available street parking. Courtyard out back is a nice feature though we didn't end up using it.

A must stay in the Kansas City area! Highly recommended property!!!

The house was beautiful! Exactly like pictures and so many extra touches. Beds and linens were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything we could need, great WiFi, plenty of parking, easy access to the highway, but also close to a lot of cute local spots! Megan and her team were very helpful and responsive. Great for our long weekend!

Great place that's pet friendly. The apartment was as described with everything we needed. There are neighbors but we never heard a peep from them; very quiet and respectful. Some of the neighbors do seem to be lacking adequate storage as their belongings are being stored outside causing some clutter around the building, but it was no problem and everyone was extremely friendly. We had a great stay with an easy check-in and enjoyed being left alone to relax and visit with friends & family. We hope to be back to Kansas City again soon, and will be looking forward to booking with this host again!!

We loved our stay at Abbeys! It was exactly what we needed for the weekend and we loved being able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. Great walkable dining and trails and very close to Whole Foods. Our dog was able to use a fully fenced backyard and we were so happy to have peace of mind with him in the home. Would love to stay again!

Loved this airBnB and perfect for anyone who loves and appreciates historical homes! Spacious bedrooms and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Neighborhood was great and walkable to some great shops and restaurants as well as closely located to highways to get to other areas of KC. Only drawback I would say is the living room furniture is not super comfortable to lounge around on and you can hear people on the upper level if you’re a light sleeper.

We were in town for the weekend for a wedding and are so glad to have found Kirsten and Jim’s rental! The location was close to many great restaurants and spots. We had no difficulty getting Ubers around when we weren’t walking! Jim was very responsive and allowed us to check in / out at times more convenient for us. We enjoyed the deck in the morning w coffee and breakfast. Felt right at home in this peaceful inner city oasis!!
