Vacation rentals with breakfast in Playa Larga

Very simple bungalow right on the beach. Within walking distance, there are a few small shops and about three restaurants, all run by very friendly people. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about — this is Playa Larga in Cuba, so it’s best to read about the place before coming. This is definitely not for posh travelers looking for a typical beach holiday, but if you’re willing to explore this beautiful area, this is the perfect place for you. And we can’t forget MANU and his very kind family, who prepared delicious breakfasts and took care of us throughout our entire stay. Love you all, and hopefully we can see you again at some point! Muy buen alojamiento, muy cerca de la playa. Tienes que tener suerte con la cama, eso sí, porque algunas son muy viejas y con bollos. Pero por lo demás, extraordinario: muy buena atención, buen aire acondicionado y un restaurante agradable donde comer o tomar una copa.

Luis was extremely responsive and helpful, even before booking. He helped us arrange what we needed to before going over. Luis, Yaquelin and their staff paid attention to us and were proactive in thinking about what we might need, including mosquito coils and repellent and even bringing extra water when I was sick for a day. One day we wanted to take a trip down to the fish caves, Punta perdiz and Playa Giron and he even offered to drive us down himself instead of us paying a higher fee for more people in a taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed that day and our stay! A heads up though: we had to hide out from the mosquitoes (and heat) a lot in our rooms because they're very intense and the only other areas to be at their place were outside. We just resolved that by going to chill in the shade at the beach a lot, where the mozzies couldn't find us due to the wind. We've never been taken better care of at Airbnb and this is especially important in places like these. Would definitely recommend!

Accueil très chaleureux dans cette famille tellement gentille. Les repas préparés et servis par un vrai cuisinier en tenue sont très bons. Bien situé pas loin du centre

Javier en zijn vrouw zijn enorm hartelijk en behulpzaam. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar. Het ontbijt is uitmuntend: heerlijk en elke dag weer een smakelijke variatie aan fruit, sap en Cubaanse gebakken lekkernijen. Strand zeer dichtbij, restaurants zeer dichtbij, gemoedelijk dorpsleven. En zeer belangrijk voor ons: prachtige, uitbundige natuur in de Cienaga, dus vlakbij. Enorm veel verschillende inheemse vogels gezien. Javier regelt goede gids Marieta die alles weet over de locale fauna. Wij hebben genoten in Playa Larga!

Llilian y su marido han sido unos excelentes anfitriones. Nos ayudaron con todo y estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotros. El apartamento estaba impecable y tal cual como las fotos indican. Volveríamos sin lugar a dudas, muy muy recomendable!

EN: We stayed there for two night and we are really satisfied with our choice. Carmen and Andres are very nice people and they take care for everything we needed. Carmen also cooked for us (dinners and breakfasts) and it was really delicious. The accommodation is close to the beach and to the Viazul bus stations. We can only recommend this accommodation. If we come back to Cuba, for sure we will stay at Carmen and Andres house. ES: Nos alojamos allí por dos noches y estamos muy satisfechos con nuestra elección. Carmen y Andres son personas muy agradables y se encargan de todo lo que necesitábamos. Carmen también cocinó para nosotros (cenas y desayunos) y estuvo realmente delicioso. El habitación está cerca de la playa y de la parada de autobuses de Viazul. Solo podemos recomendar este habitación. Si volvemos a Cuba, seguro que nos quedaremos en casa de Carmen y Andrés.

The apartment is in a great location with easy access to the beach and town of Playa Larga. Melisa was very responsive and helpful in organising travel and tours during our stay. She also includes an amazing breakfast each morning to enjoy whilst looking across the pretty fishing bay. I highly recommend doing the enigma de las rocas tour along with snorkelling at the cueva de los pesces. Just a note about the area: the restaurants along the beach all have a stunning view but are very expensive compared to other Cuban restaurants we went to. More like European prices as you are paying for being on the beach (which is paradise!). If you walk into town there are cheaper restaurants. We also had an amazing pizza from a street side shack nearby for only 200CUP!

Wie haben 1 mal übernachten. Es war eine traumhafte Aussicht auf das Meer. Wunderschöne Lage. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Das frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Barbi et arthuro sont très gentils et accueillants, ils nous ont aidé pour trouver les endroits que nous voulions visiter, arthuro nous a emmené voir les colibris, nous a aussi accompagné dans la maison suivante. Barbi nous a préparé nmle petit déjeuner très tôt avant notre excursion et à appeler pour nous pour faciliter nos activités et le taxi collectif Je les recommande vivement. Muchas gracias por todos!
