Cabin vacation rentals in Platte Lake

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

Our stay at this charming cabin in Benzonia was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a true gem. The highlight was undoubtedly the private lake right in the backyard. It was incredibly well-maintained and offered a serene and picturesque setting for a truly quiet getaway. We spent hours enjoying the peaceful views and the sense of seclusion it provided. The cabin itself was impeccably clean and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. It truly felt like a home away from home, allowing us to relax and unwind without a single worry. A special shout-out to the hosts, who were simply the sweetest and most helpful individuals. Their warmth and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, testament to their thoughtful organization. This was our third stay and each time is magical. The owners couldn't be nicer, more communicative, or more hospitable. The place provides our family with a sense of 'our cabin' even though it isn't. Our boys create life-long memories of catching fish, catching turtles, watching birds and just being in nature and spending time as a family. This is the only cabin we continue to rent every year and the place is simply perfect.

What a beautiful home on Suttons Bay! You cannot beat this spot on the water and being able to sit under the willow tree and enjoy the view was heaven on earth. We truly enjoyed this rental and would certainly book again!

Jason and Theresa's place is very welcoming, well stocked with the things we needed and communication was quick and easy. The warm floors were awesome and we appreciate the inviting feel of the downstairs. The gnomes out the back window were a fun touch. We were able to find everything we needed for cooking and really appreciate Jason arranging for a new microwave to be dropped off asap. Upstairs, the beds are very soft and they do sleep warm. The lake is quiet and calm and the property and trees are beautiful this time of year. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to Traverse City and points surrounding was a big plus.

Incredible camp! It feels “rustic luxury” might be the most apt descriptor for Driftwood Camp. The camp itself has everything you need plus an abundance of nature m, privacy, and charm. I booked this a few months ago, invited some friends, and hoped it was as awesome as it seemed. It exceeded all our expectations. My only regret is not being able to stay longer.! We’ll definitely be back. (Oh, and for any folks who book a visit and are worried about a forecast of cooler temps with the open air cabins: We packed extra blankets and slept very comfortably with temps in the low 40s!)

This place is amazing! Most of the windows and porch have views of the lake. It was so peaceful, calming, and quiet. We saw trumpeter swans and other birds, amazing stars, and beautiful sunrises/sunsets from the dock. It is very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes and other trails/sites. It was a bit off season and during the weekdays so not sure how private it would be during the summer - but we had the place to ourselves :-). The cabin is compact but cozy. The 2 bedrooms have full sized beds - great for 2 single people or a couple with maybe 1 kid. I can't imagine 2 couples staying there though due to thin walls and not a lot of storage.

Fantastic host & properties. Well equipped with a lot of amenities. Spacious, luxurious, comfortable condo, with lots of privacy. Very responsive and clear hosts. Looked exactly like the photos. Would definitely come again

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is in a quiet area with easy parking and views and an easy walk to the bay. Check-in was simple, with Kate providing great instructions for the keypad to let ourselves in. The house was cozy with all amenities as described, and we felt right at home. All the Traverse City attractions were easy to get to, and Kate provided great recommendations. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again.

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot. This cabin is amazing. Cozy and very clean. Nellie was very communicative but I didn't need a thing from her because everything was perfect for me and my dog. I needed a couple days to recharge and get back to nature, this was the perfect place. Walking dog on trails, fires in the pit, very nice hot tub on deck. This was heaven to me. I'm a birder and thus property has the birds. Barred Owl, turkeys,Indigo Buntings and alot more. Also, a great restaurant Grille 44, is literally just down the road. Just can't say enough!

My husband and I came here for our 20th Anniversary get away. We wanted something small, and private and it was all that and more! From the moment we pulled up, the property was tidy and so was the home. It was small and super cozy which made it very enjoyable. The rooms were just perfect; we appreciated all the attention to detail. The beds/mattresses were very comfortable, the sheets and pillows were of great quality, and so were the blankets! The indoor fireplace was so stinking cute, I loved using it! The kitchen, pantry and bathroom were stocked with all the necessitates and then some. The hot tub was a great touch, it was clean and very enjoyable, especially being outside surrounded by nature. The sound of the river water was also so peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the seating area, that was the ideal way to enjoy a good book. Barb and Art were a pleasure to communicate with. They were quick to respond and that made things go very smoothly. We had an amazing time!

Our family enjoyed our stay! We were able to swim kayak, bonfires and grill all in one stay ! Driving distance to torch lake was extremely close. Village market was just 2 minutes from the cabin and wonderful just down the road. I would recommend a stay with Emily !

We loved the cabin. Peaceful and relaxing. Stocked with everything we could have needed, even for our 4 legged friend. Cant wait to come back.

We had an amazing weekend at The Lodge and will definitely try to come back to TC and stay there again. What a wonderful little cabin in the woods.

Great stay, worth the price easily. be warned that this cabin is very small, I am above 6' and I had some trouble in the shower and beds, but it was very peaceful and comfortable regardless. If you're using Google maps look for highway 31 cabins, the address can bring you to a nearby abandoned building.

Isla Fern is an absolutely incredible stay, everything we were hoping for and MORE! The pictures truly do not do justice and after arriving I couldn’t believe how beautiful and peaceful it was. Everything that is there is curated down to the smallest detail, modern industrial meets boho chic, with a pantry full of necessities. It was really the cherry on top of such a memorable family vacation. We stayed for a week and we were in need of making sure we had an accesible situation for my father who traveled with us. Lisa and her crew were more than happy to accommodate and make our stay that much more comfortable and for that I am eternally grateful! We enjoyed the sauna and outdoor shower. We grilled delicious dinners on the back porch and my daughter fell in love with the rock climbing tree and upstairs kids space. The beds and linens were a sweet escape after spending long days hiking and kayaking. If we are ever in the sleeping bear area again we know where we’ll be staying!

Great place , our dog especially enjoyed running through the snow in the extremely spacious fenced-in backyard. Was a great home base for checking out some of the dune hikes on Lake Michigan and skiing at Crystal Mountain. Highly recommend

Beautiful house in a calm neighborhood with lots to do in the surrounding area!

This was our 3rd time and already to book again we love this place . I grew up in small town just like this . We hope to have the place again next year . Thanks Pam .
