Anna is a fabulous and generous host and her place is a holiday paradise especially in a sunny weather. The direct access to the beach below the house and the shallow water made it ideal for the whole family to swim and enjoy the water safely. We had a lovely sauna and many swims and enjoyed paddling with the SUP we brought and in Anna’s kayak that the guests are welcome to use. Very safe waters for kids to paddle, and lots of friendly neighbors keeping an eye out too. The house is small but super functional with a gorgeous view over the water. The bedrooms don’t have blackout blinds but luckily we had packed our eye covers for the bright nights. The kids bedroom only sleeps one but the downstairs sofa bed is big enough more than one. The kitchen has nearly everything you need (we were looking for a coffee maker and luckily found a french press in the drawer). Upon leaving be prepared to empty the toilet and discard your poo bag with your other trash in the nearby garbage disposal.

Great stay in Lulea! Very peaceful and Carl's place had everything we were looking for!

We spent three wonderful days in the little red house, right on the Baltic Sea. It was very tastefully decorated, cozy and clean. From the bed we had a fantastic view of the snowy landscape and the frozen Baltic Sea. A small path also leads to a barrel sauna with direct views of the sea. Since the owners arrived on the last day of our stay, we were able to get to know them. They were totally warm and provided us with tips for our onward journey. All in all, we felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We’re originally from Sri Lanka and Nepal, and even though we live in Finland now, this was our first time in Sweden , and it was such a lovely experience! We stayed just one night, but honestly, it was one of the nicest places we’ve been. Carl gave really clear instructions and a lot of helpful info about things to do, places to visit, and nearby stores. The cottage was right by the lake, and the view was amazing and so peaceful. It was small but super cozy and warm , felt really homey. We also got to go kayaking, which Carl arranged for us. Really great stay, we’d totally recommend it!

Very nice place. Quiet area with a nice view of the lake. Beautiful in winter. The cottage is packed with amenities. A kitchen with all the stuff you need, and a neat spacious separate bathroom. Being able to sleep well in a spacious bed. TV with chromecast is also provided. The contact with Åsa was very pleasant before and during the stay. There was a quick response and thought when needed. Definitely recommended.

We had a fantastic time. The house is small, but modern and very functional. We enjoyed the view, both inside at the dining table, on the terrace and at the table by the water. I've even seen the northern lights, partly because there were no light pollution. It is with difficulty we leave this little paradise behind.

We had booked a longstay for a Workation. The wifi was excellent and we worked from the living room with great views of the bay. Kristina, our host, was very helpful and proactively thought along to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In the beautiful nature with the enjoyable city of Luleå 25 minutes away, this is a great place to stay longer as well.
