The village is 2 sq km (uphill) from Marzabotto and about 20 sq km from Bologna. Marzabotto can be reached from Bologna by train or bus. But to get to the village you need to have a car because there is no public transport from Marzabotto to Luminasio.

There is no kitchen, but there is a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine (with coffee), kettle, and dishes.
