This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. Updated country home located one mile north of Afton Alps ski hill and golf course. We are across the road from Afton State park with miles of walking trails and the St. Croix River. You will love how peaceful this space is. There is also a fire ring and plenty of firewood to enjoy sitting outside. Large patio to enjoy coffee in the morning or a barbeque. Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. We also have a very nice campertrailer with 1 full sized bed, 1 queen sized bed. 2 bunks and bath that is avialable seasonaly.

Enjoy our main level unit where you will have access to 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath, dining, living room, fully stocked kitchen. Washer/Dryer located in the basement. Basement may be a bit steep for some, but washer/dryer are avail.
