Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Piane Vecchie

Simply beautiful…the inside was unique, with loft-bedroom, an impressive kitchen and live-rock faces in both the dining nook and shower. The coffee maker was lovely, providing the best coffee of all the places we stayed in Sicily. The snacks included antipasto, oranges with juicer, bread w/ butter/cream cheese/jams, eggs, and more…enough for two very full breakfasts. The lovely, shaded garden was outfitted with comfortable chairs…very nice in the hot afternoon, and built into the cliff beside which the whole place is adjacent. The top veranda allowed for scenic breakfasts and evening wine, while looking out to the sea…lovely church towers beside and cliffs above. The location really couldn’t be more perfect, just above the main historical street with small walk to all the beaches. Also, the trailhead to the temples/castle on top of the cliffs above is about 100-200 metres away. The host was highly responsive. There are many 4-star places rated as 5-star…this was truly 5-star.

Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber, er ist sehr fürsorglich und hat uns super bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Wir haben uns immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist in einer Traumhaften Lage, auf jeder Ebene mit toller Aussicht aufs Meer. Das Highlight ist der Private Zugang zum Meer. Der Pool bietet alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub benötigt. Parkplätze sind im Grundstück vorhanden. Wir hatten einen VW Bus, ein Motorrad und ein kleines Mietauto dabei. (und Mountainbikes) Die nähe zum Flughafen war für uns sehr praktisch, weil wir mit der ganzen Familie dort waren und unsere Kinder zu verschiedenen Zeiten angereist sind. Ein eigenes Auto ist notwendig um Mobil zu sein. Für uns war es perfekt weil wir ca. 50 min ins Kletterparadies San Vito del Capo benötigten und auch mal nach Palermo fahren konnten. Die Entfernung zu den schönsten Orten in West Sizilien sind mit <1Std. zu erreichen. das Wohngebiet ist sehr Ruhig und gepflegt und wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt. Danke an Roberto

La maison a été notre logement coup de cœur du voyage. on s'est senti bien dès notre arrivée, comme si nous étions reçus par de la famille. tout se fait à pieds, une epicerie s'y trouve à 5 min. Nous avions une belle intimité et la terrasse était magnifique, entourée de fleurs. Je recommande fortement ce logement pour un beau séjour authentique !!

This is a real wow of a house. After a pretty full on country lane drive, you’re met with a proper farmhouse with stunning views. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it’s only a 15 min drive to central Cefalu. We loved having bbq dinners outside and spending time in the tranquility of the house. The welcome goodies were really thoughtful and communication was friendly and helpful. They even supplied a non slip mat for my baby’s bath, really above and beyond.

Nous avons passé plus d'un mois merveilleux a la maison des vingt fruits , et nous ne pourrions pas être plus satisfaits de notre expérience ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement, et nous avons immédiatement eu l'impression d'être chez nous. La maison est spacieuse et parfaitement adaptée aux familles. Nos enfants ont adoré jouer dans la piscine, qui était un véritable havre de paix, surtout pendant les journées ensoleillées. Les jardins environnants sont magnifiques et offrent une vue à couper le souffle sur la campagne sicilienne. Nous avons également apprécié la proximité des plages et des charmants villages siciliens, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir la culture locale et de savourer la délicieuse cuisine. Sophie et Alberto ont été des hôtes exceptionnels, toujours disponibles pour nous donner des conseils sur les endroits à visiter et les restaurants à essayer. Nous recommandons vivement cette location!

Nous avons eu un acceuil très agréable et chaleureux. Silvia est une belle personne disponible et très bienveillante et de bon conseils. Elle parle français, ce qui a été bien agréable. Son logement est super agréable, belle décoration dans le style sicilien, en montagne. Pour se ressourcer c est du bonheur avec belle vue sur la ville et les montagnes. Le seul regret, ne pas être resté plus longtemps. Situé à 30 minutes de Cefalu très joli.

Perfect location and exactly as described. Our hosts Giovanni and Lorenzo were absolutely wonderful. The Villa is stunning, the beds were extremely comfortable and the lounging areas are just perfect. Mondello is a picturesque town full of charm with gorgeous restaurants and lovely, friendly people. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for an unforgettable holiday!

Ett väldigt vackert hus med helt otrolig utsikt uppe i bergen. Uteplatsen och poolen är pricken över i. Cinisi är en underbar stad med både god mat och trevligt folk. Tänk på att det behövs bil då huset ligger en bit från staden. Superfint att vandra uppåt i bergen också. Rekommenderar varmt!

Peaceful getaway 10 mins from Cefalu. Responsive hosts, with a bottle of wine and food left when we arrived. Great views over the ocean. We hadn’t realised it was fold down bed until the week before but it did the job.

The accommodation is excellent, with all the necessary amenities. There is parking available, and it’s conveniently located close to Cefalù and Palermo. The host is always ready to help.

Wir waren für drei Nächte in der Unterkunft und waren wirklich begeistert von der Wohnung und der Umgebung. Sehr ruhig, direkt am Strand gelegen und mit eigenem Pool. Die Wohnung hat eine super Aufteilung und eine mehr als ausreichende Ausstattung. Das Highlight für uns war die große und sonnige Terrasse mit einem wunderschönen Ausblich auf die Berge Siziliens. Die Kommunikation mit Claudio war hervorragend. Er hat uns herzlichst empfangen. Alles in Allem eine super Unterkunft :)

We absolutely loved our stay. The hosting is exceptional and the property itself is clean, modern and met all of our needs. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stayed much longer. The facilities are excellent. We enjoyed the hot tub and would have used the sauna and pool if we were able to stay for more nights. The stay was full of nice little extras. Everything is very well thought through. Finally, the nearby town Caccamo was lovely and felt very local and authentic rather than touristic which we found appealing. This Airbnb would make a great base to come back to after full days of sightseeing.

Premier séjour en Sicile et cela a extrêmement bien commencé. Logement parfait, calme avec pleins de petites attentions ( fruits, eau, limoncello). I really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the host’s kindness in getting us settled. The location was peaceful and private, and walking on the private beach at night was serene. We loved the gas stovetop for last‑minute meals and the shower’s light and radio. The indoor space was a bit tight, but the patio and outdoor areas made up for it. A few things caught us off guard: the pool is seasonal, chairs shown on the beach weren’t there, and some utensils were a bit dirty. We also found ants on the table, which upset my girlfriend, and the TVs were smaller than expected. The biggest concern was the road to the beach—the potholes made us nervous about driving. Overall, it’s a lovely spot. With a few clarifications and minor updates, it could be an even more fantastic getaway. Thank you for hosting us!

The house is very comfortable. Fully corresponds to the description and photos. Not very comfortable shower, but if you are not tall then everything is ok. The place is very secluded and quiet. If you are by car, then you can reach the city and the supermarket without problems for 10 min. Massimo and Amanda are very hospitable and responsive, will always help with the placement and any of your problems. I recommend for travelers who looking for a quiet, private holiday, by car .

Elisa and Nino were wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond… We loved the animals (dogs, cats, donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, cows, chickens) and the scenery was beautiful. They cooked us dinner the first night with wine (for a small fee). Would recommend for a quiet peaceful stay on Sicily :-) thank you

Ein kleines Paradies mitten in der Natur. Mit ebensolch zauberhafter Gastgeberin : ) Wir haben uns äusserst wohl und wundervoll und aufgehoben gefühlt. Beinahe zu schön, die Oase zu verlassen, um Marion‘s zahlreichen Erkundungsvorschlägen nachzukommen… DANKE MARION! Es hätte bestimmt noch viel Spannendes zum Plaudern gegeben : )

Überwältigendes Panorama auf das Mittelmeer von mehreren Sitzecken, wunderschönes Hideaway für Honeymooner an einem Feldweg gelegen.

Mein Freund und ich waren eine Woche in der Unterkunft bei Magali. Wir waren direkt begeistert, die Wohnung war super ausgestattet, bietet hohen Komfort, und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse hat uns einen wunderschönen Blick über Olivenhaine zum Meer geboten. Vor der Ferienwohnung verläuft auch ein schöner Fahrradweg, in dem wir durch Iydilische Landschaften fahren könnten Richtung Porto Pablo (Wunderschöner Strand). Fahrräder könnten wir bei auch Magali mieten. Es gibt eine Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der nähe mit einem Penny, der reichlich Auswahl hat an verschiedesten Lebensmitteln. Magali ist ein super Gastgeberin, und hat uns bei jeder Angelegenheit weiter helfen können. Wir waren wirklich mehr als zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt, gerne wieder :)

Sehr gute und vor allem ruhige Unterkunft in der Nähe des hektischen Cefalù. Der kostenlose Parkplatz ist nicht direkt an der Unterkunft aber in der Nähe. Parkplatz scheint sicher, wir liessen unsere MTBs im Auto. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlage: Ein etwas bessere Matratze. Der Rest war perfekt. Besten Dank!

We loved our stay here. Fabio was the best host. I had so many questions that he graciously and promptly helped me with. He went above and beyond with recommendations for the local area. The house was perfect. The outside kitchen/dining area was our favorite. The community pool was gorgeous and just steps away. The home is located in a quiet gated neighborhood and provided plenty of privacy. We’d love to visit again!
