We enjoyed a lovely stay at the house. Beautiful and serene surroundings. Was a great place to relax and unwind… Great day trips nearby. Would recommend you bring in all your provisions at the start of your stay and kitchen is fully equipped. Caroline was easy to contact and fast to respond. We chose to use the hot tub which was ready for us when we arrived and easy to operate. Our only wish was that had we known, it really should be drained & refilled after two days of use since there are no added chemicals (which is a plus) Overall a wonderful experience & would highly recommend

Lorna was a fantastic host, always very responsive and gave some excellent recommendations of places to visit. Lorna had gone out of her way to provide a lovely hamper of key essentials on our arrival, thank you Lorna 🙏 The wooden lodge, hot tub and bbq area were fantastic, all very well laid out and easy to use. We couldn’t recommend a better place to visit for some relaxation and peace in beautiful surroundings. We visited St. Cyres beach for a walk and then off to the Lobster shop in Johnshaven for lunch was an excellent start to our trip. Well done Lorna!

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

We stayed for work purposes, house was lovely and exactly as described. Graeme was very quick to respond to my queries. Thank you Graeme, we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area for work or leisure.

It was really nice house, worth the price for a studio. The best part is the location, which peaceful and disconnected from the world. You can have evening walk across the village. from the back of the River Dee. Best place of you want to have some quiet time. The host is really supportive and understanding for everything that goes on. They will guide untill you reach the location. The house is perfect with all the things that is required.

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

Lovely cottage. We come to Cullen 2 or 3 times a year and this cottage is up there with the best. A real bonus was having a tumble dryer! Coming home no dirty washing was brilliant. Thank you.

My family have stayed at this apartment quite a few times.The apartment was immaculate when we arrived with a gift of delicious shortbread left for us.The apartment is spacious, well equipped,comfortable and well located for all the amenities.

Micheal’s place was fantastic! Lovely and spacious, very clean, surrounded by beautiful buildings. 2 minute walk to the music hall and all local amenities with a wide range of restaurants, takeaways, pubs and bars to choose from.

Perfect place! We had a wonderful stay at Sheila’s cottage. It is beautiful, in a peaceful location with incredible views. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed. Everything provided was great quality and the place was spotless. Comfy beds, great coffee machine and a lovely welcome gift. We are regular visitors to the area as we have family near by, we will absolutely be checking availability here first when planning our next trip.

What a fantastic house! It’s was extremely clean and tidy! Beds were comfortable! Walks around the house an absolutely breathtaking! We loved our stay at Forglen Lodge and we will be back!

We lovede the place. Very close to the City but still very quiet and private. Host was very helpfull and gave us good recomandation when we needed, also quick to respond. All perfect

This stay is a very nice apartment with great amenities! The washer/dryer is very helpful, but it’s also just such a nice large living place to settle in for a bit.

We went to Inverurie for the birth of our first grandchild and found the apartment to be an ideal base. Nice sized two bedrooms and good sized bathrooms. Very peaceful yet close to Inverurie town centre Highly recommended Colin was always responsive to our queries and Karen his cleaner was first class - very warm and friendly

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

Fantastic base for our week with bikes and boots - the house had everything we needed, and more! Pedalled from the house for adventures around Ballater, on the Tarland Trails and to the Top of Mount Keen in glorious sunshine, and more walking trails around and about including Muir of Dinnet/Burn O'Vat. Loved coming back to a warm bath and comfy space, with brilliantly kitted out kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed all the garden birds. Overall, in the woods and mountains, we saw over 50 species of birds in 5 days, plus deer, red squirrel, stoat, badger, lizard, slowworm and 2 adders! Such as treat for town-dwellers , thank you :)

The cottage was lovely - very peaceful location. Some garden space with outside seating for al fresco eating. Very close to all areas of the village.

Great situated little suite. Walkable to village center and access to trails. Very cute and confortable, beds/pillows were epic. Everything was clean. Linda and John were super responsive and accomodating.

This is the second time Brenda has hosted me, and once again it was a wonderful experience. Brenda is communicative and responsive; the flat is clean and organized. It’s close enough to the amenities so I could get where/what I needed easily, but still very peaceful. I’ll definitely be back again!!
