Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Perth County

Koi was proactive and wanted to ensure we were provided with all we required. We had all the amenities of home. We were able to sit outside on the porch (April 24th) and had a visit from a lovely black cat to welcome us to this quiet neighbourhood. Koi how did you arrange that?

A lovely restful stay! Will be back. The suite itself is ideal for a single like me or a couple. I cherish quiet and Sherry’s Orchard stay was quiet and peaceful. Linens, bathroom, kitchen immaculate. Pizza spot around the corner provided a top notch calzone. Uber’ed into Tavistock easily and had a lovely meal. Thanks for the 100 awesome stay as advertised!

Wow! What an exceptional Airbnb. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s and this is now definitely at the top of our list of places to return to. When we arrived we found a lovely welcome card and a box of chocolates. What a nice treat! The home was decorated very tastefully and we immediately felt at home. The furniture was not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable, including the beds and linen bedding! The kitchen was well stocked, with plenty of coffee and tea and many other staples. We also appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom. I should also mention that the entire place was absolutely SPOTLESS! Thank-you Michael and Joey for being both responsive and helpful and for providing such a lovely place for us to enjoy.

This place was AMAZING! A beautiful 3 bedroom house that was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay while attending a family wedding in Mitchell. It was located very close to the church in Stratford as well. It was beautifully decorated, and very clean and comfortable. Our host Kathi went above and beyond, leaving us a welcome basket with snacks and every appliance imaginable at our fingertips. We will definitely be returning here very soon. Thanks!

Really liked the convenience of The Mad Poet! Joe’s Diner across the street was super convenient and quite good. The downtown core was easily walkable.

Every year I go to the Festival and have stayed at different places. This is THE BEST! Quiet, clean, roomy and within easy walking distance of the theaters and downtown. A real gem. Murray is so thoughtful and a great host. He even did magic and ensured beautiful warm weather to show off the wonderful backyard in mid October.This will be my go to place from now on!

We had a great stay. House is very clean. If I had one negative it would be to have blinds installed on the lower floor front window and on the front door window for a little more privacy. Overall great place!!

We had a wonderful stay at 'The Danny'. It is a short walk from the downtown core - easy to get to restaurants and the Avon theatre (and you can leave your car in the driveway). The space is flawless - super clean and filled with thoughtful touches. The bed was very comfortable (love the extra large pillows). Danette was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer - our busy theatre schedule meant we didn't have enough time to truly soak in all the wonderful features of this gem. We will be back!

We booked Janelle’s place very last minute and she was so accommodating which we really appreciated. My favorite part was that there were two master bedrooms both with king size beds and newly renovated bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to find things in. Thank you for a great time away.

Unbelievably convenient location. Newly renovated and furnished. Perfect for two couples with bedrooms on 2 different floors. Easy parking. As Cassandra says it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Great stay, we would definitely book it again.

We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

Gurpreet’s place was perfect for us. Easily accessible, parking, short walk to Avon Theatre and many restaurants and shops. In nice weather walkable to other theatres (maybe 20 mins) but we drove due to rainy weather. It was clean, bed was comfortable, had most amenities and was very quiet. The communications were very responsive. We would return here!

I cannot say enough great things about Kathleen and our stay at the St. Patrick! From the moment we checked in, we felt right at home in this luxurious and relaxing space! Kathleen was an outstanding host that spoiled us with little customized details for our group! The St. Patrick offered everything we needed for our Stratford getaway. It is located within walking distance to all the Stratford Festival Theatres, shops and restaurants. We will not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks Kathleen!

Was in town for the festival for three days, and was looking for something fairly last minute when this apartment opened up. Place was well kept, easy to get to, and in a great location within walking distance to many of the theaters and center of town. Jordan was responsive and easy to talk to. Would consider coming back in the future. Hopefully it won’t rain so much next time!

Mikes place was a great stay for our girls getaway! The loft style apartment was spacious and eclectic, and we loved the charm the space had. We weren’t aware of the staircase entrance to get to the loft, the stairs are very steep and the chair lift seemed to be inoperable so something to keep in mind if you have any elderly with you, I had my 86 year old grandmother with me so this would’ve been nice to know in advance. All in all a lovely Mother’s Day stay!

Good location on the main downtown street but still quiet. Comfortable and had all we needed.

This was my second time staying at Brendan's place - and I hope to be there again! The location was perfect - just across from a park and walking distance to all the theaters, shops and restaurants- and a wonderful bakery just a few doors away.. The kitchen was equipped with every convenience - we could have cooked all of our meals there if we hadn't wanted to eat out. The beds and foldout couch were comfortable and the place was roomy and quiet. Couldn't be better!

This was the perfect spot for our short but sweet Stratford stay. You can't get a more convenient location - as central as it gets for exploring downtown. Mel and Beverley were very responsive. Comfy beds, huge apartment with lots of room to spread out.

Beautiful condo in a beautiful building. Comfiest beds and equipped with anything you could think of. We really appreciated all the extra towels, coffee, etc. Really great location for walking around Stratford and a huge bonus that there's a breakfast/lunch place right downstairs in the same building. The space is wonderful and all touches have been thought through.

What a fantastic location for going to the theatre. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shows, even gelato. And the pinball was super fun!

Brilliant place to stay, suite was huge, kitchen well equipped, all the fixtures were gorgeous. Older building but very well kept. I loved the tub. Would stay again.
