Rest Awhile, Kimbolton

I will stay again as it was very comfortable and homely. Nice touch of coffee and biscuits and bread, jam and milk in the fridge! The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in so much so I have got the brand and type so I can replace mine. Loved the soft sheets and duvet too! Plenty of towels. Washing up took a bit of time due to old pipes for the hot water but I saved it up rather than trying to do it each time. The host does warn you of this in the detailed book of flat and local information. The hot water wasn’t an issue though in the bathroom with an electric shower with lots of instant hot water. It’s a very sunny flat with lots of sun during the afternoon. Easy to park behind the building. The building is an old building and does reflect the age but the flat itself is very nicely done. Great quick communication with the host.

If you like walking , Hail western then is ideal for exploring the walkways and waterways / rivers . All on the flat , get those bikes out you will enjoy the location .

Beverley was there to give us a friendly welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was exactly as it looked on the pictures and had everything you could need. It was a warm day and the windows had been opened to ensure it was as cool as possible. The instructions provided before check in were clear and answered any questions I might have had. Beverley was quick to respond and we really enjoyed our stay.
