Country House Retreat. Sauna, lakes, firepits

Alexander Christopher CRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing hen and stag do weekend here for 22 guests. Sarah was super accomodating and lovely and went the extra mile to make us cocktails and snacks when we arrived, and a super thoughtful card and champagne for the happy couple. Sarah stayed in the adjoined house so was able to help us out with a couple of things when we need it. All the bedrooms were amzing and really comfy. Top host and beautiful home! Highly recommend!

MODERNIST COTTAGE WITH HOT TUB

JustinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Overall a great stay with my son. The place has no WiFi and we had little to no reception so without a connection, it’s very hard to research what to do or where to go. The weather in Wales is generally wet so when the sun came out, we’d like to enjoy the outside space but the house has no furniture. No bbq. No seats or table. The location is also hard to find. Instructions could be clearer as Google Maps gets it wrong. It’s opposite the red post box is best advice! Driveway entrance should also have a warning. Car bottomed out in big holes. And be warned, it’s very remote and I get the point of it but everything you do requires stressful driving 30mins plus. Walking from house also requires walking mainly on dangerous single lanes and I’m a country boy but I wouldn’t risk the 2 hours to nearest pub. Easy to get into, super clean, fire was lovely, water very hot. Hot tub also a nice option. Thanks for a great trip Dorian.

Country cottage

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property in Llandysul. The views were absolutely stunning, and the setting was incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The facilities were excellent, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. A real highlight was the amazing hot tub, which was a wonderful bonus after a day of exploring. The location is ideal for discovering the gorgeous Welsh countryside and nearby beaches. Communication from the host was brilliant—friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout. Highly recommended!
The entrance to the property features a wooden gated access surrounded by lush greenery. In the distance, a stone tower stands amidst rolling hills, framed by trees. A gravel pathway leads into the outdoor surroundings, creating a peaceful rural setting.

Butlers Cottage

KarenRating, 5 stars4 days ago
My parents and I had a pleasant stay at Butlers Cottage. We visited Newcastle Emlyn and New Quay, including the Afon Mel Honey Farm. The accommodation was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed using the hot tub. The surface of the lane leading to the accommodation is in quite a poor state with some large potholes - not the owners responsibility I'm sure but something to be aware of if you are in anything other than a 4x4. That said, if you drive it very slowly, once you do reach the accommodation, it is lovely and private and well worth a visit. Thank you Kate & Andy.

Old Oak Glamping

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Gorgeous pair of shepherds huts, one is the main living space/ kitchen area with wood burning stove for heating and plumbed bathroom and a separate hut for bedroom. Perfect if you have a companion who likes to sleep late or go to bed early! Peaceful, private with friendly goats and cattle to watch in the adjoining fields. Firepit and outdoor seating. And bbq I think (we didn’t use it) . Stunning views across a peaceful green valley. Clean and well equipped on possibly the tidiest working farm I’ve seen! Will definitely come back.
