Dog friendly cottage in a Northumbrian village

SandyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The large garden at the front and the field at the back soaked up any noise. You could be in the middle of nowhere, when in reality you were seconds away from the main road. Diane and her husband were wonderful and welcoming. But they also left us alone to get on with our holiday, with the knowledge we could knock on their door if needed. The cottage was super clean. The beds very comfortable. Every comfort catered for. The only downside, if you can call it that, was that we had to drive everywhere for food and drink, but that’s a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. We wanted a quiet holiday and that’s just what we got. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Very convenient for going up or down the coast to other towns and beaches. We loved staying here.

Quirky coastal retreat

VirginiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were a group of nine and the house was perfect for our needs. We loved the quirky style, it was really well equipped and the kitchen dining area was just perfect for a big gathering. There is a beautiful beach walking distance from the house and easy access to the beautiful Northumberland coast. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cosy 2 bedroom house in the heart of Morpeth

AnnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We are very familiar with Morpeth, so knew our way around, although we did struggle a bit finding the house when we first arrived. The house is lovely amazing size rooms, clean and tidy and definitely a good location. More than happy to recommend to both friends and family.

The Waiting Rooms

KatieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a wonderful place! Richard's property, 'The Waiting Rooms' is beautiful, spacious, immaculate, historic, peaceful and set in a fantastic location, just 10 minutes walk to the town centre. The flat is huge, with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms, an enormous sitting room and kitchen - and with an outdoor dining area. There is also easy parking behind the property. The rooms have a very calming teal blue colour scheme. We visited during a heatwave but the building's very thick walls and the rooms' high ceilings ensured we were at a very pleasant temperature throughout our stay. The high, arched windows also let in lots of light (and with privacy from soft net curtains). Finally - don't be put off that it's beside a train station. We barely heard any and the station is so architecturally beautiful. The local Sainsbury's (just a 5-minute walk away) was also very helpful. It's a great place to stay, close to great restaurants, cafes, beautiful countryside and not far from the sea!

Cosy 1 bedroom studio in private woodland setting

JamesRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Sarah was very easy to contact with any questions and gave us good advice with things to do locally. The location is quite and peaceful but within a 5 minute drive you can be close to shops, restaurants etc should you wish. The bed was sooo comfy. I would definitely stay again. 1 thing I would suggest is to read the instructions on how to get there provided by Sarah. I didn't until I got lost, then followed them exactly and took me right to the door 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
