We had a great visit to Cosenza thanks to our host. He was very helpful and accommodating for our arrival and departure. Walked us through the place which was very helpful as well. Great recommendations for things to do nearby and places to eat. Our trip was better thanks to Alfredo, we will definitely stay here next time we are in the area and recommend to anyone else.

Alba was the perfect host and looked after us so very well. Of note: the Calabrian eggs for breakfast were delicious. The balcony area was the perfect place to relax and enjoy watching the ocean life of Scilla.

Wonderful stay! I took my mom to Sicily for the first time and this was a most ideal place and setting. The service and attention was exceptional and made you feel right at home upon arrival. The room seemed like it was newly renovated with nice modern furnishings and technology and also immaculately clean. Perfect patio view of La Isola Bella. The outdoor pool was clean as well. If you chose not to rent a car you can take a bus which picks you up about halfway down the hill and it takes you to the beach as well as the center of Taormina. I would return here anytime. We stayed in this fantastic apartment for two days. We had a great time, very clean apartment, equipped with all comforts (air conditioning, washing machine, large bathroom, iron). Apartment not very large but with an excellent terrace, well-equipped kitchen area and equipped with everything you need for breakfast and lunch. Very convenient parking and the sea is a stone's throw away. Great experience.

We spent a week as a family at Litore Domus. Two dogs traveled with us, which were also received with enthusiasm. The house is new, spacious and tastefully decorated. It is located in a great location by the sea. There is a parking space in front of the house. Host Alberto is a very nice, smiling person always willing to help. I hope we will have the opportunity to meet again.

We had a lovely stay! The home itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and friendly. The space had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. As there are people upstairs and downstairs, we had to be quiet (I have 2 children under the age of 2), if you have children just be mindful before booking as you will be reminded to keep it down. You will also need to take bedding off and bins outside yourself at the end of your stay. One thing to keep in mind: the location is quiet seaside village style. It’s a peaceful and quiet area, which we appreciated, but taxis and ride-shares were hard to come by. If you’re planning to stay here, having your own car or arranging transportation in advance is a good idea. We made friends with locals who helped us out with ride shares. Overall, a great experience — especially if you’re looking for a quiet retreat and don’t mind being a little outside the city center!

We had a great time at Giovanni's house. The house is a typical old farmhouse renovated with a unique design and a beautiful freestanding bathtub. The location is quiet and surrounded by nature. You can find olive, cherry, and hazelnut trees. The outdoor spaces are vast for taking walks with breathtaking views on one side of the sea and on the other of Mount Etna. There are typical restaurants and various wineries nearby that offer wine tasting of Etna. Then there are the hosts who I must say are very kind and take great care of this place. A car is required to get around comfortably, and it is also possible to reach the sea. Thanks to Giovanni, Pippo, and Gertrud!

Book it! If you're considering this area of Calabria and you love beautiful views of the ocean, a quiet/peaceful small beach village vibe, and easy access to many of the nearby beaches, busier cities (e.g. Soverato and Catanzaro), and historical sites, THIS is your perfect spot. The views are spectacular (even better than the photos, if that's possible) - we woke each morning to the sunrise, enjoyed coffee while watching the sea birds, and the hearing the gentle waves hit the rocks below. Federico (Gabriella's son) was very helpful on anything we needed in terms of local restaurants, shops, etc. Definitely visit Alta Marea seafood shop for local seafood. And L'Arte del Grano for freshly baked bread. We can't wait to return!
