Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Passaic County

This beautiful lake house is a lovely retreat from the chaos of the city. We spent the day lounging by the dock, and relaxing in the sun. It was awesome to have a full private bar with your own pool table right in the house!

The apartment is exactly how it was described and it meet our needs! The host is very nice and responsive.

One of our favorite airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! We felt right at home. The amenities (especially the wood burning fireplace and sauna) were such a special treat. The home was comfortable, clean, and a great location for access to surrounding nature, breweries, and wineries. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Nice place to stay at

Me and the family travel to NJ often to see relatives. And finding Ken's place was a great find. It was 2 blocks away from our relatives. Shops and Restaurants less than a mile away. Quiet peaceful area with lots of people and families walking around. The house had enough rooms and beds for the 4 of us. The full bathroom was small, but perfect for us as we didn't need much more. The only scare for me was the stairs but only because we have a 2 year old who's wild. But aside from that, great place and will definitely stay there again in the future if its available.

Staying at Jo's place was an absolute pleasure. The house itself was just as described and sits in a cozy area steps from Greenwood Lake. My fiance and I spent a week there and honestly felt as if it could be our second home. There was plenty to do at the lake where we swam, paddle boarded, and kayaked all around the beautiful water. Jo made sure that life jackets were provided for us and that they were the appropriate size which was incredibly thoughtful. She also gave us lots of recommendations for local places to eat and to see which was also very nice. Communication with her was top notch and was always comfortable. We will absolutely consider coming back to her beautiful home.

Extraordinary experience with amazing host. We appreciate all the great amenities and the continence of the location. The view of the lake is beautiful even during winter time. We look forward to our next stay.

Christine's lakeside home was just as described - peaceful, beautiful and comfy. We enjoyed being right on the water, utilizing the gorgeous backyard area and dock. The extra amenities (kayaks, paddleboard, lifejackets, towels) were so appreciated! And everything you may need (or forgot!) is a quick ride away. Be sure the try Yesterdays Irish Bar, a quick 15 minutie drive - great food and service. There was no washer, so do ensure you prepare. Overall, absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend fully!

Once again I love it it is so comfortable I feel like I'm at home when I'm there I finally learned how to you the fireplace 😂😭

Had a wonderful girls weekend with childhood friends at Izzy’s Little Castle! It was very clean and organized, beautiful and minimal interior, felt safe, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. We very much appreciated the welcome snacks and would happily return in the future!

Our stay with Maria and Bernie was absolutely lovely. Maria was so responsive, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying at Maria and Bernie’s and look forward to staying again in the fall.

Carol's place was super clean and pristine. There was a warm welcome note that made it homely as well ! Towels and extra blankets were provided. The two bedrooms were clean bright simple and comfortable. Instructions for clean-up and lock-up neatly and clearly posted in the kitchen. Super clean and fresh smelling bathroom. The fridge was stocked with cereals, milk, water and the kitchen stocked with tea, coffee , sugar and other condiments. We had come for a wedding event (4 of us) and it was extremely comfortable to make our own tea, coffee , breakfast . Within 5 minute driving distance - there are various shopping complexes and restaurants , if you were to need anything. More importantly, the residential neighborhood was clean, and quiet. Carol was very easy to contact throughout the process of reserving , arriving and check-out! Highly recommend Carol's place !

Johnny was a very accommodating and polite host who clearly cares about the space that he provides his guests. The place was clean, neat, and more beautiful than the pictures lead on. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the place had ample space to accommodate all our bags and belongings. Everything was just as, if not better, than described in the listing. Thank you so much Johnny for helping us enjoy our trip so much more!

I absolutely love the town of Boonton and all the restaurants and cafes within walking distance. My stay was perfect and peaceful despite a rough travel start dealing with the Newark Airport mess (made national news for over a week). The host even helped me navigate from JFK after being rerouted from Newark to there. It was either $300 to UBER or take 3 hours under $30, I choose the latter with the help of the host. Highly recommend this airbnb if you want a peaceful and quiet place in a kindhearted town, with lots of food options!

Alex was an extremely responsive and helpful host. My friend and I were in town for a weekend for a wedding. Montclair is a beautiful city with so many things to do but also not too far to access the city (40 minutes) if you would like to make a day trip. Alex's place made for a relaxing stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Vernon, New Jersey, right by Mountain Creek. The one-bedroom space was exactly as described in the photos—clean, cozy, and inviting. The accommodations, including the pool and hot tubs, and sauna were fantastic and easily accessible. The host was very responsive to messages, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great, well-equipped condo close to plenty of activities. Michael was super responsive and made check in a breeze.

Paul’s condo was PERFECT for our family of 4. The condo is in pristine condition. Highlights include beautiful balcony over the view with a surrounding view, HUGE bathroom and very comfortable king bed. The amenities also made the stay tip-notch, including very large pool, hot tub, outdoor play areas and pool/games downstairs. The building was well-kept as a resort. Highly recommend: 10/10!

Massimo was the absolute best and sweetest, honest, helpful, generous, considerate person I’ve ever worked with on here. His home was so beautiful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. He even provided snacks, water, and mash mellows and graham crackers along with the sticks if we wanted to use the onsite bonfire. He thought of everything down to little candy in trays, chocolates , probably the best bed I’ve ever slept in. There was not 1 thing about this trip I could complain about. I bragged to my friends who came over how amazing he was even at responding when I got lost. I’ve recommended him to a few people already so I hope he gets an abundance of business. It was worth every penny. He is an exceptional host and person. I will make it back to stay again. If you’re looking for pure comfort and ease don’t waste a burger second and book ! His place is worth it. Thank you so much Massimo you made my birthday amazing!!!!

It is a great location, with plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity. The unit was quiet, clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a week long stay. The owner was very responsive to any query, and I did not have any issues with the unit during my stay. I'd work with Henry again for a future stay in Vernon, NJ.
