I stayed for 2 weeks at Anna’s house and felt very welcomed. I would recommend staying at Anna’s home to everyone, but especially to (female) solo travellers. We had lots of really good conversations, but you also get your space and alone time if you want to. There are really nice parks close by, and a supermarket is just a 2-minute walk away. The bus stop is almost right in front of the door, and it takes around 25 minutes to get to the city centre. Since Anna has a lovely dog, you should be fine with having a dog around the house. I felt like I was living with a flatmate in Glasgow and loved everything about that experience. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ – 100% recommend

Siobhan is such a lovely and thoughtful person and host. I had unexpected changes with my check in and she went out of her way to make sure I was accommodated. The flat was exactly what I needed and the location was great - lovely pubs and a cafe just around the corner! Thanks so much Siobhan!

Calm urban retreat near city centre, Glasgow

Great flat, 5 mins walk from the local train station, itself only 7 minutes from Glasgow Q St. Peaceful flat, building, surroundings and host. Perfectly so for writing a book, the purpose of my visit. Flat large enough, and sound proofed enough, to almost have no knowledge of the other guests, host etc. Perfectly adequate electric shower, and unlimited hot water from the taps, so no worries running anything out for others in the flat. Certainly would recommend, and use again. The stay was over too quickly. Pubs, cafes, supermarkets all within a 10/15 minutes walk.
