Vacation rentals with beach access in Paignton

Really lovely stay in a great place so close to the beach ( 2 mins walk). The apartment was very clean and had all we needed for a short stay. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was good. Jaquine provides a fridge of provisions, including a bottle of Prosecco, which was a lovely addition and very welcome. Communication from Jaquine was excellent. The Start Bay Inn is popular and very good especially the fish dishes and Stokeley Farm shop and cafe is also within walking distance.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

Wonderful place to stay, we throughly enjoyed our week away. The apartment is very spacious, has great views and everything you need. There is a bus stop right outside, which we found handy and the train station is only a 20 min walk into town. We didn’t have the best weather to make use of the patio furniture as much as we’d have liked, but the time we did spend outside was enjoyable and peaceful. Dawn and Richard were great hosts, and the personal touches were a lovely thought. We would definitely stay again.

....you can totally chill at suki's place...just watch the world go by, tides come in & go out...also nice beer at hand if you do need to walk 50yds..

Staying at Andrew & Sara’s place was so wonderful - it looked exactly like the photos and made for a fantastic long weekend at the Pirate Festival! The flat was absolutely spotless and contained really thorough instructions for everything - most towels and utensils etc. were provided, but we did need to buy bathroom supplies, baking paper and clingfilm, which we’d forgotten to bring with us. The area itself feels so safe and the flat has an incredible view, but is up lots of steps, so do be prepared for that! It was completely worth it, though: I could have sat at the living room window and watched the harbour for hours, it was a very special place to be. A beautiful, well looked after home that I highly recommend - I very much hope to be able to stay there again in the future!

What a truly wonderful stay, and the photos REALLY do not do this beautiful place justice!! We had the most lovely welcome from Chris and Sally when we arrived, were given lots of tasty treats to keep us going until we were able to shop the next day, and loved every second of our stay with them. They really did think of everything we could possibly need, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is excellent as we were able to park right outside the property. There is also a bus stop directly outside so we jumped on the bus to Exeter, which only took half an hour. The drive to Starcross is only about 10 minutes and we parked up and got the lovely foot-passenger ferry over to Exmouth (definitely worth the trip and very cheap.) We will DEFINITELY be returning and are already missing the sound of the ocean.

Rockpool is a wonderful place to stay! Kay is a friendly, helpful and generous host. We appreciated the lovely treats left in the fridge for us. The location is peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is comfortable, very clean and well equipped.

Great location and beautiful flat. We took our 1 year old with us and it was perfectly suited to him toddling around too. Very clean and modern interior. Would highly recommend!

Amy's cottage is just as advertised , location is perfect, right on the river beach, its easy to find, and just a short walk from train station. The shops and several little cafes , bakeries and pubs, are all within a short stroll , many are dog friendly. Amy's cottage has everything you could need and its all very clean cosy and comfortable .Amy was quick to answer my queries and gave me good directions for getting there. Thank you for a lovely seaside break , me and my little dog would love to stay again .

My few days at The Lair was like staying at my own home. The place was pristine, with all the amenities you require. The bed was so comfy ! So peaceful too ! I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Sam for being such a great hostess. Ali

Really loved our stay in the cottage. It's beautiful, comfortable and clean. Had everything required. Caron has great communication and told me everything I needed regarding location, parking and access. And on hand to answer a few smaller questions to! Loved the stay and very much recommend!

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Tilly's is such a beautiful little place! Me and my boyfriend went for a little getaway for 4 nights and we were so impressed with Tilly's. Julie and Keith were great hosts and have done an amazing job with creating such a beautiful place. Julie was so attentive and helpful, easy check-in and out too. The private garden with a nice hot tub and fire place was lovely whilst watching the sunset. We will definitely be returning!

Serendipity is a lovely house with stunning views. Marks has designed and refurbished his house beautifully and very much with his guests in mind. The downstairs is spacious with a very large table so we as a party of nine could sit all together or in separate groups inside and outside. Well done to Mark. He is a very considerate and welcoming host.

Perfect place for a couple. Centrally located for whole of South Hams area. Really quiet. The host was really welcoming. Accommodation was really well presented and spotlessly clean. Super bathroom and a really comfortable bed. We’d certainly stay there again!

A fabulous place for our stay. Quiet and private but close to all amenities which meant that we could walk everywhere. The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We stayed at The ApARTment for 4 nights and loved our stay. We were a group of 4 adults and had plenty of space. The setting is beautiful, with great views from the living space of the surrounding hills, down into Dartmouth, and across to Kingswear. You could happily sit and stare at the view for hours! Simon and Theresa were brilliant hosts. Theresa was very communicative via messages and really welcoming when we arrived. Simon had some good recommendations for places to eat. Both were really friendly and relaxed when we bumped into them. All amenities are as listed and we had no problems self catering. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furnishings are comfortable and the whole place was immaculately clean. Finished with an artistic touch, including some of Simon's own work, the decoration is fantastic! It was walkable to Dartmouth for those that dont mind some hills! We wouldnt hesitate to book again, and I'd recommend The ApARTment to anyone.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to talk to — they made me feel welcome right from the start. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and they were always available for any questions or local tips. The flat was spotless, well-equipped with everything I needed, and very comfortable. The location is excellent — within walking distance of everything — and having a safe parking space was a huge plus. They’re truly thoughtful and attentive hosts who clearly care about their guests. Stay Salty was excelent, central location and very close to a car park. Dog friendly and a beach just round the corner within easy walking distance. a couple of 100 yds. As bad weather was expected on one day Matt offered to supply extra dog towels if needed, totally unexpected but shows the level of service. Teignmouth was good and within easy reach of larger town if the need was there. Would recommend it to anyone who fancied the area along the glourous South Devon Coast.

Nice little apartment in a perfect location. Short walk to a beautiful harbour with plenty of bars/restaurants. Apartment itself was clean and tidy, with nice seating area in the courtyard

We had a wonderful week staying at The Courtyard, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. Very comfortable upstairs lounge with two balconies to make the most of the views. Plus a lovely courtyard filled with gorgeous greenery making it feel very tropical (and lots inside too). The bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in! Stoke Fleming is a lovely village with access to the SW coastal path in both directions – the walk to Dartmouth is a must (and get the bus back!) Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area too. Jill’s communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Courtyard 😊we most certainly hope to return!

A beautiful apartment just a short walk away from the centre of Torquay. Dean was very helpful. I would happily stay here again.

We would highly recommend a staying here for either a short stay or long one. Close to the harbour and you don't need a car to get around the town. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and you have everything you need here. Rebecca is an awesome host and responded to any questions very quickly. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
