One being Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. We're also 6miles away from windmill farm.

Had a great time staying at this airbnb. Beautiful kitchen, wheelchair accessible with a ramp for the upstairs. And dog friendly! Great pools in the neighborhood indoor and outdoor with hot tubs. Easy check in process. Great to go into SPI! Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The property was large, beautiful, and very peaceful — exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of fishing, which everyone in our group enjoyed, and seeing the alligators was an added bonus. They kept to themselves and didn’t bother us at all, just part of the natural charm of the area. The owners were fantastic — every time we reached out, they responded quickly and were extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The location met expectations and the hosts made the stay enjoyable, easy, and convenient. The key pad check in made everything that more convenient as we came in late on our check in day. Our hosts were fast responders and put us at ease that our late arrival would not be a problem. The property matched the description exactly and we did not need much during our stay. Overall accurate and a perfect, quiet spot. Our only critique is an out of date info-guestbook, but other than that, we had no complaints.

My family and pets ( four adults and three small dogs ) enjoyed our stay at Chris and Roxann's cottage. All of us were comforted with all the arrangements. Area is quite serine and people around here were friendly. Even our dogs had conversations with their new four legged friends at the back of the yard. Evenings were enjoyed on the patio with the cool breeze from the bay. Thank you Chris and Roxann for a wonderful experience. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

The place was cooled down and ready for us to unwind. Lots of storage space for snacks and the grill was awesome and ready to fire right up. The neighbors were all very respectful and nice. The neighborhood felt safe. So close to everything! We will be back!

It was also spotlessly clean, honestly one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, beachside getaway!

Me and my husband came down for our daughters wedding. This plane was perfect for what we wanted and needed. Very clean, great location, nice places to eat and very easy access to the beach. I will definitely come back and stay there. The owner was quick to respond to any messages we sent. Can’t begin to tell you how happy we were.
