Cabin vacation rentals in Ozark Mountains

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and modern. Has a great exclusive feel when inside and on back deck. Some reviews complained of not being very exclusive but besides the front drive in you wouldn’t know you were close to anyone else. Everything was about 10-15 min max away. We had issues with the AC unit but they were good to come by and fix/adjust.

We had a great stay at Hideaway Cabin! The location was very private, but close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The stairway leading to the creek behind the cabin was a nice surprise, and something we took advantage of more than once. The kitchen was stocked with everything we were expecting and much more. Heidi was great to check in on us and make sure we made it in fine, and also quick to answer any question we had. We will be checking if it is available the next time the two of us want to spend a few days around the Buffalo.

This by far has been my favorite stay yet! It was so clean, so refreshing, and so soothing for the soul! It’s very secluded, but also close enough to everything that you’re not having to drive very far to do anything. We were recommending this place to people before we even left for home! I think the most impressive part was how cozy it was, most places you stay it’s hard to sleep (not your bed not comfortable) this wasn’t the case here! The bed was extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was just so peaceful, we slept like babies! Definitely made for a very memorable 10 year anniversary! Absolutely will be returning as soon as the opportunity arises!

Contemplation cabin is the place to be. We had the best time. In fact, we needed more time to do more exploring and to be able to enjoy the river and the kayaks that were available. Logan was flexible and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

The Cardinal Cabin is where rustic charm meets modern comforts. The cabin was spotless and comfortably furnished, including a well-appointed kitchen. Everything we needed for an enjoyable, stress-free stay was provided. The abundance of birds serenade the morning while the crickets and frogs welcome the evening. A beautiful mother fox and her kits frolicking around the property provided some fun wildlife watching. There are neighbors close by; however, everyone was friendly and respected the sanctity of the peaceful area. Brittany is a wonderful host who provided a wealth of information on the ins-and-outs of the property, things to do in the area and dining options. She made sure we felt right at home. We will definitely stay at Cardinal Cabin in the future!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with a great comfy place to lay your head at night. Made a trip to the local brewery and had a great flight of beers and even took some back for some after supper dessert. All in all a great weekend trip!

It was the perfect spot for our 50th wedding anniversary celebration! I can't think of a better location or setting. We both love the outdoors, being on a river and seclusion. It was perfection!

This was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We wish we could have stayed longer. The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed sitting by the pond and even playing a few rounds of cornhole before the rain started. Also, we loved the decor and thought that was put into this home! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic, peaceful and private property that is exactly as beautiful as it is in the photos. Loved the chickens, great unique touch. Not only was the property exactly what we were looking for, it was immaculately clean and the host was proactive and incredibly helpful while never interrupting your vacation. Highly recommended and would love to book again.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin! The setting is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to a crystal clear creek, perfect for fishing and swimming. The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. We especially loved spending time on the deck each day, enjoying our morning coffee, watching the sunsets, spotting wildlife, and just soaking in the tranquility. The location is ideal, close to trails, parks, and town. Mountain View had everything we needed and more. We were warmly welcomed by friendly locals and even got to enjoy some hometown bluegrass jams in the park with ice cream in hand. It was a perfect place to reconnect and make up for lost time with my best friend and partner.

Loved the view and privacy, there was everything I needed to get some rest along my trip. I would definitely go back for longer though :)

Scott and Roni are super sweet hard working people. you can see the care and time they have put into making their own little piece of paradise. property is nestled far into the woods, but goodness is it worth it when your there. slept like a baby in nice quiet woods. lots of love has gone into this place and I will definitely be going back again, highly recommend!!!

If you're looking in this area, I cannot imagine you will find a nicer place for twice the money. Everything has been thought of, and then some. If you do plan a stay, please take care of it- I want to have it around for a long time!

Absolutely loved everything about this place! Beautiful scenery, very responsive and helpful hosts, clean, and when they say fully stocked they mean it. The kids loved the board games, the boys fished all day, our dog had the time of her life! Cannot recommend enough, we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. Being in the middle of nature was the best part. Sitting out on the patio at night and getting to look up at the stars is not something we get to see too often back home with city lights. Everything was exactly how described and David was very responsive when needed. We were traveling with our German shepherd and we are extremely grateful he got to join us this trip. There aren’t many airbnbs that allow pets but I’m sure glad this one does! Our fur baby was one less thing we had to worry about while gone because he was right by our side the whole time. Very surprised at how many dog friendly places there are in Fayetteville. Would highly recommend David’s place. Hope to come back and stay in one of his other locations very soon! Thank you David for everything! Can’t wait to visit again!

The place is as beautiful as the pictures. Very relaxing vacation. Mike and Debbie were great with answering all questions. Beds were very comfy, and kitchen had everything we needed. Waking up and drinking coffee on the porch was wonderful even on rainy days. The last 30 minutes of drive to cabin is like a roller coaster drive but has. beautiful views. If planning on going to Branson make a day of it because it’s a little over an hour drive. But if your anything like us staying at cabin fishing and playing in lake was way more fun and more relaxing. They have all kinds of games to do indoor and outdoors. I promise you want regret your stay. Thanks again Mike and Debbie for sharing your beautiful cabin with us on our vacation. We made lots of memories.

Cay was very responsive. Her place was tucked back in some pine trees with no hidden highways. Noise free. Nothing misleading about her description. Exactly what we wanted. Literally 8 minutes from the Buffalo River, which is a must to kayak for the most spectacular scenery. Beds were comfortable and clean ( NOT made of those cheap uncomfortable iron frames). we would definitely stay here again if ever in this area. Thanks Cay. Your place is a slice of heaven.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway for my husband’s birthday, and it was truly phenomenal! From the start, we walked in to a sweet handwritten note and birthday decor, which we’ve never experienced in any of our Airbnb stays. Tracy and John were beyond thoughtful in providing every single thing that we could need. The cabin itself was so cozy and peaceful and we immediately felt at home. Due to the crazy weather that weekend we unfortunately didn’t get to take the tour, but we will absolutely be planning a trip back to experience it!! This was by far one of our favorite Airbnb stays!

Absolute FAV getaway spot! We’ve stayed at BaseCamp 9 times over the past 4 years, and it’s always perfect. Clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up — it truly feels like our home away from home. Jon and fam are fantastic hosts, and we’re so grateful for the memories we’ve made here. Can’t wait for our next visit!
