The Bolt Hole is a spacious, cosy home from home in the picturesque village of Luddenden, situated between Halifax and Hebden Bridge. This is an ideal stop for a short break or for a longer holiday. This property has secure off road parking for 2 cars - an advantage as parking in the village is very limited and often a problem. The Countryside is favoured by walkers (like us) and cyclists. We can recommend easy and more difficult walks from the property as well as those further afield.

Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Our little house has just been fully refurbished (Sept 2019) Its on a private track with its own tiny front garden, so no traffic noise to wake you in the early hours, just the sound of the birds singing in the woods below.
