We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. We are in between Durham & Newcastle, both only 20 minutes away. We are close to the A1M, perfectly located for a North East Visit. Included are, Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Wifi, bed linen, towels, hairdryer heating/water and welcome pack. EV charger available
