We had an exceptional stay at Gilles's. The cottage is ideally located, on the edge of magnificent natural spaces conducive to walks, and close to real cultural treasures such as Autun and Beaune, not to mention the superb castles and picturesque villages that dot the region. The accommodation is very comfortable, impeccably clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Gilles gave us a warm welcome and was very available, with excellent tips for hiking in the area. Special mention to the adorable U2, who knew how to appease our Viggo, a bit dominant but finally conquered. We would definitely recommend this property!

A very pleasant stay for six in a comfortable and practical house, a green and peaceful environment. The park was very popular, all generations combined (four, from the two great-grandmothers to the grandson), and the dogs were able to be left free. Located a stone's throw from the city center, the property is away from the main road, the street that serves it is quiet and not very busy. Why not relive the experience?

Great place to stay with my wife and father, plenty of room for the three of us but it would be fine for more as well. Very quiet village and about twenty minutes from a supermarket so stock up. We walked and cycled from the house and visited other local towns. very peaceful location

Beautiful house, very spacious and really nicely done up inside. Lots of toys to entertain our kids and outside space. Highly recommend!

Our stay could not have been better. Jenny is lovely, and helpful in every way. She went above and beyond, however, when she picked up some much needed dog food for us in Dijon. The house is beautifully decorated, well outfitted, and so charming. The area is quiet, in a wonderful way, but within driving distance of many wonderful sights, and close enough to Beaune, Dijon, and the Burgundy wine route to make them very doable day trips. Nearby Epoisses has a not to be missed Fromagerie and great bakery. Jenny even arranged a Resistance tour for us, with a local guide, Tim. It was excellent.

A house with stunning views of the lake, a garden that allows you to relax in the middle of pretty roses and peonies... the wooden terrace is great, we ate there every day. We mainly enjoyed the outdoors but all the comforts are there in the house. Thanks to our Host, it was really great.

We recommend Elisabeth's cottage, it is located in a quiet area, it is well equipped and carefully decorated. The pool, bocce court and games room are real pluses. Élisabeth is very attentive to her guests. We had a lovely family weekend in this relaxing place.

Jos and Sabrina are friendly people with whom you are quickly at ease. The place gives enough privacy, peace and a nice view from the garden. A single car (counted on one hand) and occasionally a flock of sheep. The accommodation is playful and spatially designed. The basics for cooking and making tea/coffee are provided. A nice wood stove (with split wood) for which there is a clear instruction in the folder with information about the house. The bed was fine. It is self-evident and you quickly feel at home. Unfortunately, the baker in the village had stopped. In a next village (Montreuillon) there is still a (NL speaking) baker. From the house you can go hiking. We were able to explore the neighborhood with our dog. Very nice and calm area. Birds, a cow mooing and a church bell ringing embedded in silence. Had a wonderful week!

Exceptionally peaceful place with wonderful views

Warm welcome and availability. Clara's cottage was perfect for our group of 12. I recommend this place lost in the greenery where the pool is pleasant after a day of sightseeing.

A lovely cabin in a beautiful area! Inside, nice, vintage details everywhere, outside a private patio where you can easily cook and a swimming pool for the much-needed cooling. The hosts are both super nice and very willing to give you recommendations in the area (which are well worth it!). The cherry on top is sweet dog Pipa who comes to greet you cheerfully. We felt very welcome, also to come back!

beautiful little stone tower. The stone work is remarkable and done with care. It has all the comforts despite the small size of the building Louise is very welcoming and breakfast is excellent. Not to be missed if you like the work and beauty of Auxois stone.

We came as 3 couples with children. We had a lovely weekend in the countryside. The house is well-equipped, clean, quiet and allows you to really unwind. I would definitely recommend this house. PS: We were hosted very well by Gwendoline and her family. All the explanations were clear and we had plenty of recommendations on activities or eating out. Thank you to them for everything and their responsiveness in meeting our needs.

Very warm welcome, after we had received clear instructions about the key etc. via the messages from Airbnb. The entire apartment is super clean and tidy! The living room is easy to keep cool despite the fact that there is no air conditioning downstairs. Large garden with a lovely swimming pool for cooling off.

What a special place to stay, this cottage has all the necessary necessities and is beautifully located on its own lake. All the fun things to do (water bike, swing, trampoline etc) were very appreciated by our 3-year-old daughter.

Accommodation located close to the host which makes it possible to deal with any possible problem while remaining independent. Another unoccupied accommodation currently being renovated in the same courtyard does not pose a neighborhood problem. The property is completely enclosed, which allows dogs to be safe. Outdoor facilities provide access to a gas BBQ and a wooden table and benches, parasol. Fully functional interior services. Wifi ok. Attentive host. Mobile phone network with little presence with the Coriolis operator. Shops in town: Bakery and grocery store, Lidl and B1 Château Chinon.

The house is really very welcoming. We loved it. It has a fenced garden which is very good when you go with children. Communication with Pierre was very friendly. He was very responsive and very precise in the description and recommendations for the accommodation. The house is very well located. There are beautiful activities to do with the Lac des Settons which is not far and beautiful walks to do along the Cure. We'll be happy to go back.

We would recommend this listing! We had a great time with friends and kids. The fact that there is a small separate living room is very convenient for making a children's corner or a quieter area. The garden is great and closed (but not locked), but beware of nettles and tall weeds. It would be useful to add the presence of a large plancha in the listing. The house is very well equipped. The lakes are close enough and Settons Lake is great! Shady walks, parking and picnic space, swimming, etc. Thank you!

Tom is a very welcoming host (he offered us honey he made and strawberries from his garden when we arrived) and discreet. Her home is a pure marvel in the middle of this soothing and calm nature of Morvan, tastefully and originally decorated. What a pleasure to come home in the evening after a day of walking and feel at home. The equipment of the accommodation is perfect, Tom really thought of everything, from the outdoor terrace, to the air conditioning for hot summers, to the pellet stove for cold evenings, a space reserved for parking the car... and inside there is really everything: dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, oven, microwave, tea towels, salt, pepper, oil... washing machine, drying rack, ironing board, iron... The village of Chissey en Morvan is nearby with a small grocery store/bar/tobacconist/newsstand.

Accommodation in the heart of Morvan, in a quiet environment (at the end of a cul-de-sac) and not far from the lakes. Beautiful garden, very nice terrace, my dogs enjoyed it and so did I.
