Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Otočac

We spent a total of 6 days with Damir on vacation. The accommodation was extremely outstanding - especially the view with the pool. Since Damir lives right next door, the communication channels were short. Otherwise, everything was super clean and quiet. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.

We had an excellent stay although we would have liked to meet the owners. We stayed for 5 nights and, being between 2 national parks, we found lots to do. 100% reccomended!

We were absolutely delighted with Ljubica she was very friendly, best host we arrived very late due to our flight being delayed we arrived at 2.30am and Ljubica was so kind even wanting to help us with our luggage and asked if we were hungry offered to make us something to eat , we have been to many airbnbs this one was our by far our favourite. The waterfall veiw from our verandah with the soothing sounds of water and wildlife was spectacular we enjoyed every minute of our stay amd highly recommend this wonderful home away from home it was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a amazing holiday we both are comming back and staying longer . A peaceful haven in the most beautiful part of the country. Only 10 minutes drive from the national park, which is awesome. Very comfortable and warm

This place is a gem. Nestled peacefully with gorgeous views, porch swings, and views in every direction. We had a rental car and got to the national park in just a few minutes for a magical day!

Check-in was smooth and welcoming. At check-in, Zeljka who was very friendly, explained everything about the house in detail, and given tons of helpful tips about the Plitvice Lakes National Park, nearby supermarkets, and more. The location is great—just about 10 minutes from Entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes. The house itself felt spacious (especially with the huge bedroom), clean, and very comfortable for two people. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at home. But the real gem is the garden—absolutely stunning! There’s a large swing nestled between two big trees that we loved, and the wood-burning hot tub was such a relaxing treat after a day of hiking. One thing to be aware of: the house is not a fully freestanding unit. It’s part of a building that essentially consists of two adjoining houses. Since the structure is largely made of wood (which gives it a lovely, cozy feel), sound does travel quite a bit, and you may hear your neighbors during your stay.

The place was perfect for our stopover to visit Plitvice the next morning. The place was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended to travellers with the same plans!

There were three of us at Ana's, the apartment is clean and as described. We were personally welcomed on site. Communication was simple and uncomplicated. The sea is within walking distance, down the mountain. We were very pleased with everything. Highly recommended.

The stay was very relaxed, had good connection to the main road and was still very quiet, also no mosquitoes in the rooms ;) Check-in was flexible and everything you need for a few days stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s place. The accommodation is beautiful, very clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you might need. The use of the pool is a great added bonus that made our stay even more enjoyable. Sandra was incredibly kind and welcoming—always available and ready to help with great suggestions and local tips. The area around the house is very peaceful and quiet. It might feel a bit far from towns or cities with more nightlife or evening activities, but that could also be due to the time of year we visited (June). In any case, both the host and the accommodation were excellent. Thank you, Sandra! Hopefully we’ll have the chance to come back!

Lovely studio in the centre of Rab town. Clean and spacious for two people. Bathroom is a bit compact but functional. Hosts are great communicators and provided guidance not only relating to accomodation but also had great suggestion for restaurants. Great stay!

A very nice place, quiet location and a nice view. Restaurant and shops can be found about 1 km from the apartment. We stayed there for 2 nights and were very satisfied.

Clean, comfortable, cozy. This condo met all our needs and, most importantly, it's close to Plitvice Lakes National Park. One thing to point out, and I think other guests also have mentioned this in their reviews, DO NOT let the exterior of the condo give you pause. Yes, the exterior of the building and the entryway need some TLC, but the interior of the condo is awesome. It's extremely clean and updated. People in neighboring condos were quiet. Also, there is a market nearby (within easy walking distance) with very reasonable prices. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay at this condo again.

An absolute delight! We much enjoyed our stay in Matjaz apartment. It is very clean upon our arrival and is as described on Airbnb. It supplies everything needed throughout the day. The private beach access is perfect, idyllic and gives you the opportunity to enjoy your vacation without any stress of searching for a spot in the shades. Although we did not use it this time - the garden is also equipped with a grill, which was quite tempting to use :) Matjaz is a super host for a reason. He and his wife are as friendly as one can be, super helpful and easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back any time and can highly recommend Matjaz and his apartment (s). ***** 5/5 Stars *****

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay at near Senj.

We spent 14 pleasant days in September at Mate's large, modern apartment. Everything very clean and very well decorated. The view from the balcony very nice. It was very relaxed. Mate took care of everything and was always available. Perfect location. Nice and quiet, only 5 min walk to 2 different beaches. Also only 20 minutes to walk to the old TOWN OF RAB.

** This apartment is a must stay if you are in Senj ** We are so pleased to have found Ana's apartment with rooftop views of Senj. What a stunning location. The apartment was fully kitted with everything needed to feel right at home - we even managed to wash our clothes and hang to dry on the line - it took no more than 30 minutes! We enjoyed our stay in Senj and the apartment was clean. The hosts were very kind, genuine and responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. One we will remember for a very long time. Thank you!

My family and I enjoyed a very nice easter holiday weekend at Brankica's place. She is very friendly, helpful and just a great host. The apartment itself provided way more then usually and way more we needed. It is located right beside the sea, just the road in between, as seen on the pictures. The cozy balcony offers a great view directly to the sea and we enjoyed it as well. 100% recommendation from our side - we are looking forward to come again!

We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and immediately received all the important information as well as clear and helpful instructions. The apartment is superbly equipped – there is really everything you need for a comfortable stay. Particularly noteworthy is the magnificent view, which inspires anew every day. The location of the vacation home is also ideal: the beach is within walking distance, as are various restaurants and shops. The large parking lot directly at the house is another plus, especially when arriving by car. Communication with the landlords was always very friendly, straightforward and reliable – they were always available and attentively took care of all concerns. We felt completely comfortable and can fully recommend this vacation home. Thank you for the wonderful time – we'd love to come back!
