Great place, everything works, water is hot, kitchen has all appliances, cool patio with second kitchen for outside cooking, comfortable beds with 3-layer bed sheets for sanitary purpose, AC in all rooms and so on. We had a great stay, in this cozy and nice place. Fernando is super helpfull at anytime and Mahahual is really smart place for family vacation.

Excellent accommodation, very good location and all around very quiet. The pool super well, refreshing for the warmth of the area and very close to the beach until walking. I will definitely come back here when I come back to Mahahual

The chalet is a charm✨, very comfortable, I was with my 2 daughters and it seemed very nice, it is well located, clean, with the basics to spend a few days relaxing away from the city.

Casa Palometa was a wonderful stay for a group of 3 fisherman for a 8 day stay. The place was as described and Keith and Abby were very communicative and helpful in giving advice and recommendations. Moises, the point of contact in Xcalak was also incredibly helpful and helped us procure fresh fish from local fisherman for dinner. The place was clean on arrival and had plenty of extra sheets, blankets and towels to accommodate our length of stay. I'd highly recommend a stay here if you're thinking of visiting Xcalak, especially if you want to fish. Lodges are always expensive but there are plenty of DIY fishing opportunities in the area and many guides available to hire freelance for less than average.

Everything is fine. The area is far from downtown and that makes it a private and pleasant place. The beach is across the street. The apartment inside is spacious and has everything you need. I just want to comment that the sheets already look worn and the host takes a while to respond.

Great stay in Mahahual at Felix's! Splendid sea view, very quiet, very nice terrace, spacious and well-appointed apartment, small pool as a bonus, city center easily accessible on foot, and a few restaurants nearby. Recommended!

This house is exactly as advertised. A quiet house right on the beach. Kind of like camping. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable we were without air conditioning. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions.

Great experience, both the place, the views and the attention. Don Elías takes care of the place and is incredibly attentive in what is needed, he even gave us cocos and supported us to put the grill looking down to the smallest detail to make our stay enjoyable. Excellent place to spend days of rest or family adventure. Kayaks are a PLUS in your stay. Alvaro and his assistants were always attentive at all times and made recommendations for tours. Excellent communication!! We hope to return to beautiful Bacalar soon!

If you want to find the place for ultimate relaxion outside city polution and away from disturbing world with the perfect view of the blue lagoon just to yourselves - this is exactly the place. The host is very engaged in making your experience remarkable. The cabin is simple but it has all you need in the world without electricity - Gerardo has thought about everything and is open to any suggestions. We didn't want to leave the place even for an hour for shopping or restaurants - it was so relaxing to hang in a hammocks all day with some brakes for swimming and walking in the lagoon and seating late in the nights outside with sangria, staring at the stars. There was very few mosquitos during our stay and Gerardo provided us with repellent and mosquito nets.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everyone who works there is so friendly and very helpful. The food in the little restaurant is made with love, always consistent, and very delicious! The views from our room were stunning! The location is a bit remote but the hotel offers taxi communication right from the start, and it is very reliable. The room was also well protected from mosquitos, which was pleasantly surprising. We loved this little, Mexican family-owned spot.

Very nice place to get away from the hustle and recharge. The hosts were kind and the atmosphere was friendly. The sky was just astounding!!! Shooting stars (while we're out of season), March, coming and Milky Way very visible ⭐️ Beautiful reef for self-contained snorkling 10 minutes walk to the left of the beach. My only downside would be that the kitchen lacked utensils (only one cutting board for 7 homes, for example). Otherwise, I would recommend this little corner of tranquility.

The cabin had a wonderful view to the Bacalar Lagoon. From the property, you could directly access the lagoon for swimming and enjoying its crystal clear waters. The place was very quiet and the hosts were always attentive to everything we needed, being very friendly at all times. The surroundings were extremely quiet, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the place. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay for those looking for a serene destination with an impressive nature. It is important to note that the road to the cabin can be a little tricky, with branches, potholes and slopes that can represent a challenge. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive in an own vehicle to be able to access without problems. Also, it is recommended to bring the food and insect repellent as there are several mosquitoes in the area. Overall, it's a great option for those who want to get away from the hustle.

This place is a gem! The staff were wonderful and they made it so easy for me to check in and out! The cabins are so clean and comfortable and specially beautiful surrounded by greens and of course the lake pier access and views! I spent my bday they and will definitely come back if I have the opportunity! 100% recommended!

Excellent place to spend days. The entrance is from terracería but the house has all the amenities and amenities described. A quiet and ideal environment to rest and spend quality time with the family.
