Guillermo and Diana's place is our "go to" place in Chetumal when we want a peaceful accomodation. It's just steps from the bay in a very walkable and safe neighborhood and close to a taxi stand and a Walmart mini mall. The neighborhood is exceptionally friendly and 30 pesos gets you to the heart of Centro and the Muelle Fiscal.

Beautiful beach, relaxing location and comfortable stay! Friendly caretakers and very responsive owner/manager! Great place! Would book again without hesitation.

If all you need is the Caribbean just for yourself, Casa del Sol is da place. Tom Hanks movie «  Cast Away » with solar electricity for your mojito’s ice cubes and a very good bed :-)

Our second time staying at this place. We love the location, the pool, and the roof top patio. The building manager is very helpful and offers local suggestions if asked. He works hard to keep the building and the yard looking wonderful. We will for sure be back again on our next trip to Mahahual.

Enjoyed our stay! Great location right on the beach. Having the restaurant downstairs was handy. The hotel staff were kind and courteous and beds were comfy. We really appreciated the waters and nespresso pods! We didn’t have time to use the beach club but it looked beautiful! The only suggestions would be to add more patio furniture (we wanted to sit outside but there weren’t enough seats for our group of 4) and use smaller key chains- The huge squares didn’t easily fit in our pockets or purses so were kind of inconvenient. It was perfect and relaxing! We will definitely stay here next time we visit Mahahual!

Eric and Jorge are two excellent hosts. Super friendly and very willing to give you all the local information. The village is simply magical. Highly recommended. And the ocean view is a dream. One of the best hosts I've met on this app.

If the third time is the charm, then I can’t wait. This is by far the best bang for your buck inside of the area. The house is beyond beautiful with pretty much every accommodation. It’s located right where there’s a street fair every night, so there’s always food, taxis are consistently in the area for rides, and did I mention it has a beautiful view? The top floor is a great locations to relax with your family or a group of friends. Every room in this house is beautiful. I love it, and I will be back.

Andrea’s place in Bacalar was fantastic!!! The space was clean, comfortable, and even more beautiful than the photos. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design and hospitality—every detail was perfect. The location was peaceful and felt like a true getaway, while still being close enough to enjoy everything Bacalar has to offer. Andrea was responsive, kind, informative, and made check-in a breeze. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The home is located right on the ocean. Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful. The ocean waves and breeze were very relaxing. We swam in the ocean every day also! The caretakers Samuel and Veronica were very kind letting us into the home, got us coconuts to drink and Veronica made my daughter a sweet stuffed bee animal. Samuel cleaned the beach every day also. Jennifer was extremely responsive and offered suggestions on restaurants in town. Highly recommend this home!

Beautiful location with private lagoon access. We spent most of the time outside. Everything is arranged in this way. (Palapa, Hammocks, sun loungers, canoes, barbecue etc.) Air conditioning in the rooms is essential at night, given the temperatures :) The host is very responsive to any questions or issues. We really enjoyed our stay in this peaceful place. A real little paradise!

Had a wonderful stay in Bacalar! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The view of the lagoon was stunning, pictures do it no justice, and it was the perfect spot to relax. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely come back!

Meredith and Jill's service was excellent, always attentive to our arrival, everything was sparkling and it is a very comfortable space to enjoy if you do not want to spend the whole day on the beach. The pool is clean, the place is very cool. We loved the place. We hope to return soon. Now it's our favorite place to stay. My wife and children were very happy. Thank you for all the attention.

Perfect place for us to stage our time in the Mahahual area!

Mariana’s place is a perfect accommodation for Bacalar. To be lagoon side and have a gorgeous property to enjoy is an experience my family will remember forever. The house was clean, orderly, and had all that we needed to enjoy cooking at home and enjoy our leisure time. I hope this magical spot stays just as wonderful and beautiful for our next visit. We had an absolutely fabulous time at Teresa’s home! Check in was flexible as we were delayed in Tulum. Teresa’s instructions were always super clear and so we didn’t have any issue finding the house at sunset, also there is a hotel next door with a restaurant in case you miss the supermarket! The house is about 10 minutes away from Bacalar town, it has a perfect view of the lagoon and everything you can need inside. The lagoon is super private as most boat trips are over on the other side of the town also. We absolutely loved being there and surrounded by nature, I would very much recommend the house!

Location Location Location! This is an incredible spot right on the beach. there is a very good coffee shop right in the building, but the apartment is equipped with a coffee maker if you want to make your own. Very well stocked apartment, pretty much everything you need is right there. the wifi worked very well too. The beach in front of the apartment was so clean and beautiful! One thing to note is there is not a queen size bed in either bedroom so just be aware if you're tall but by no means is this a reason pass on this apartment with gorgeous views. loved it!
