Royer and Flor's place was incredible and gorgeous, surrounded by a beautiful garden and wonderful sounds of animals. Both Royer and Flor were some of the best hosts I've ever had—super informative and helpful. I would highly recommend their place and booking your tours with them. My partner and I did a day tour to Sirena Station and a night hike with them—both were very informative.

This is a very comfortable place if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and nice nature environment.

Amazing location, super helpful on site host who responded immediately and helped us with some tricky logistical issues. We didn’t have a car and getting there was a bit tricky. Also the stairs to the bedroom are steep. Someone who is less sure of their balance may be challenged. Overall this place provides everything we needed and couldn’t have been more conveniently located if beach time in one of the most beautiful places in the world is your priority.

Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)

The accommodations are impressive, impeccable and warrant much higher than 5 stars. The facilities (shower, toilet etc.) were clean upon arrival, I was able to take my first hot shower in months (our house is being remodeled lol) The view from the back deck is deserving of its own paragraph! The property is absolutely massive and one benefit of that is you don’t feel like you’re staring into other peoples houses, the stunning view is yours to drink in. In short, HIGHLY recommend this place. ❤️

We had the most amazing stay at ricardo and clara’s cabin! It’s such a beautiful, peaceful place, immersed in a lush and abundant food forest, and watched over by a majestic, old mango tree. There is a stream that is constantly flowing and soothing you. Wake up to howler monkeys and bird songs. The cabin was spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. In fact, we loved our stay so much that we ditched other travel plans and stayed for another week! We highly recommend staying in this beautiful cabin if you’re looking for a beautiful natural sanctuary to stay in, while being close to the ocean and towns and services. We had such an incredible stay here. Walking through an incredible garden by Marino Ballena National Park in the morning felt like the biggest treat. Listening to monkeys and macaws from the terrace was a total immersion in nature. I needed to walk to see Uvita Oasis’s pool, laundry room, veranda, outside seating areas, etc. Our cabin in the Uvita Oasis was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. With excellent air conditioning and WiFi, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to be completely self-sufficient. Although there are various private parking areas in Uvita Oasis, the cabin had its own parking space well protected from the sun. Milena, our dedicated point of contact at Uvita Oasis, was exceptional. She swiftly arranged a day trip to Corcovado within a couple of hours and was always prompt in her responses, ensuring our needs were met. 100% recommend

Our stay at the Castro cabana was amazing!!! The compound was extremely private and we really enjoyed the common areas, like the pool and outdoor kitchen. The cabin had a really good kitchen so we were able to cook most of our meals there, but when we didn’t want to cook, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The beach was also so so close so we were able to really enjoy the ocean every day. When we arrived, there was no hot water, and when I let the host know, they had it fixed extremely quickly! We really appreciated that. Our group had a really good time and would love to come back!!!

El lugar es hermoso, está lo suficientemente cerca de todo, pero a la vez es muy privado, respecto a la llegada en carro, un carro 4×2 puede subir la cuesta muy bien si es alto y no ha llovido mucho. Benjamín es muy amable y siempre estuvo muy atento a todas nuestras dudas.

L’accueil qui nous a été réservé était très chaleureux et toujours dans la bonne humeur. Le lieux est sublime, le cadre très authentic et l’expérience de la nuit dans la forêt tropicale était superbe, avec une chambre très jolie, confortable et pratique! Nous avons passé de très bons moments avec nos hôtes et j’aimerais revenir pour découvrir les visites qu’ils proposent ! Merci à vous, Pura Vida

I can't say enough how perfectly clean the room was. I was very impressed with this as I stay in many places in the osa and very hard to find a place that's not rushed for the next guest to arrive. Host was very easy to communicate with and the area is super nice. It's usually busier but the slow down was nice. Lots of dogs in the area so be sure to pick up some treats to ha d out. I f your looking for someplace short term clean, safe and priced well this is the place and will stay again for my next short trip out.

The cabin is really nice to relax and good location to drive from to nearby beaches and waterfalls. I felt the cabin is also larger than it looks on the pics! Especially the kitchen area. The second bedroom is probably more suited for children than adults, it has no space to put your bags and clothes. Only the main room has some space for this. Also, second bedroom is only separated from living room by a double set of courtains, they're thick and dark, but there are no doors or walls. We visited as a couple, so no problem for us :), but something to keep in mind if 3 or 4 friends want to visit. Our favorite area of the house was the terrace overlooking the woods, great to just hang out and also has a nice table to have breakfast,lunch, etc

One of the last remaining paradise like places.... it is really hard to leave this dream. Hour long hikes through the jungle, monkeys, arras, tapirs and the puma are close by. Long, beautiful beaches with no one but the sunset in sight. Complete darkness and milky-way over sparkling plankton Susan and Carlos welcomed me into their oasis with open arms and open hearts. They are hard working, loving people taking really huge care of their guests and staying with them was like coming home. Cuddled into the jungle mountain my bungalow was a place for rest and reset. I enjoyed the peace and quiet with no cars or motorbikes and just 5 minutes to the beach so much that i extended my stay from three days to two weeks. there is a restaurant conveniently placed at the bottom of the hill - enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast, lunch (get the boxed lunch for the beach) or dinner. A bar is also part of the families complex where at night you can enjoy a drink with some locals or the other guests.

I love this place. My new home away from home. Recommend and I'll be back. Pura vida ♥️

Serene & peaceful: perfectly placed hammock that caught a nice breeze in the afternoon. Small kitchen equipped with all the essentials for a few days (a private típico Breakfast is also available from Maria). Open-air was lovely, fell asleep to nature sounds instead of a recording. Sebastian was super helpful & you can pay to get rides into town for early boat departures & things. It’s a bit of a walk/hike to the cabins in the heat, so if you aren’t keen to walk, there’s local taxis & moto bikes available. Overall, a perfect retreat to slow down after Corcovado hikes & diving adventures. Thanks so much Sebastian & Maria 💙

Un lugar muy bonito para estar enojarles, una vista increíble y bien equipado

Coup de cœur de notre séjour au Costa Rica. Maison en bois, spacieuse, dans un environnement préservé. Ne cherchez pas les murs des chambres, ce sont des moustiquaires qui vous donnent la sensation d'être au cœur de la forêt. Faune et flore très riches, les singes-hurleurs sont le réveil matin. La maison se trouve dans une plantation de cacao, le maître des lieux, Ronald, vous fera découvrir (et goûter !) son excellent chocolat artisanal. Merci encore pour son accueil généreux.

We had a wonderful time in “Cabana Los Monos”. Quite special to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and watching all the different kinds of beautiful birds and monkeys jumping around the trees right in front of you. Heather was very helpful with contact details for a taxi or a shuttle. Even though there is a bus stop right at the main road, where local buses stop, it is quite unpredictable when the bus arrives. So either take a taxi (heather can give you options) or make sure you have a car. Going to the beach is super easy though, just crossing the main road, across a small river (take waterproof hiking boots or sturdy sandals) and your right at the beach. We did find it nicer compared to the main entrance of the beach, because it is less touristy. If you want to, you can walk there to buy an ice cream or coconut. Overall a super nice place to stay in Uvita. Thankyou Heather for your hospitality!

Casetta molto carina nel bosco. Tranquillità assoluta. Presenza anche di cucina e amache per rilassarsi. Super consigliata!!
