I only stayed one night this time but could have spent many more nights here. A very nice place close to everything! This place is inpecably clean and fresh- the apartment as well as area. Comfy beds! The staff was highly communicative before arrival and very welcoming. I appreciated being able to keep my luggage stored after check out. Again: highly service minded staff. Lovely! An excellent place, I loved the privacy of the place, highly recommended, the host was very attentive, very well equipped, we would love to return!

the property is secluded although not “remote”. It’s easy-ish to find if you follow the owner’s directions. The space is clean and large and a short drive to pretty much everything in Uvita. You can also walk to the Ballena national park in less than 10 minutes (just FYI, the whale’s tale takes about 1/2 hour from the park entrance though). The bed is firm - this is a preference thing and has nothing to do with how much we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is basic and has everything you would need to cook meals.

Marlene went above and beyond during our stay. If I come back to Uvita, I am definitely going to come back to this place!

This place was absolutely amazing. It exceeded all of our expectations. It was very clean and the location was super close to restaurants, the beach, the little town, and waterfalls. Each morning, we grabbed coffee and sat out on the porch, listening to the howler monkeys and watching all the birds. I couldn't wait to get up every morning to do that!! It is in a complex, but the neighbors were super friendly, the pool was always available and absolutely beautiful to look at, walk out to and take a dip to cool off. It was a wonderful place to return to after a day out for complete relaxation.

I came for a yoga and meditation retreat. This was the perfect 1 bedroom home to base myself, kitchen to cook each day, nice hill to go for morning walking and hikes, large lounge and balcony to practice my morning yoga. Good internet to do my work at the computer. Good air conditioning to keep cool when in the house. Lizzet was always responsive and helpful. High recommend.

This place is exactly as it looks and is described, which makes it a good Airbnb and good value (at the price as of April 2025 at least). Carles and his co-host communicate well and everything about the place is easy (easy to find, check-in, care for, etc). It isn't fancy but it is nice/well-built (small things like the shower water doesn't get all over the bathroom like with many similar shower setups) and comfortably arranged for 1-2 people with 2 desks for working etc. Would absolutely return. Downsides, if you want to know them: the immediate surrounding area is nothing special (it's in a nondescript small development), and there was quite a bit of noise in the morning, including starting at 5:30am on Saturday (this may be temporary/construction). It didn't interfere with my enjoyment, but it is good to know.

For long-term travelers, this is a good place for in between, as you can cater for yourself very well with the good equipment of the kitchen (even a blender for smoothies) for two people. The area around the apartment is quiet and with the pleasant air conditioning or fan you sleep very well. Long story short: Absolutely recommended for those who want to visit Uvita or Marino Ballena National Park.

Jazmin and David were great hosts. They were kind enough to accommodate my last minute reservation request. The condo, complex and pool were really nice and clean and within walking distance of everything I needed. Uvita is a cool little village. I hope to make it back to Uvita soon and would definitely stay there again.

Big cabañas with AC, a pool and a shared kitchen which is great for communication and social contacts. Very nice hosts and family. Having a car is a plus due to the long road to the beach/supermarkt, but they rent bikes for a fair price, too.

Above all it was excellent We were surprised to arrive and see such a beautiful, tidy, organized and clean place, the pool is quite deep (about 1.70cm since I measure 1.47 and did not reach the bottom) Which is quite comfortable to swim at ease and dive for a while, the kitchen is very well equipped⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ With Victor I did not have to wait 2 minutes for him to respond, he always gave with the result of my inquiries, and Gabriela undoubtedly to some very kind and attentive to our needs, the place is just as in the photos, close to beaches and the place is very quiet to take a walk, go to eat, beach and even waterfalls(10 minutes by car) I recommend it quite a bit, in short we will come back some day⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful macaws in the tree right outside the hotel! The owners are a very nice family and live on-site for support if needed. The communal kitchen was actually kept very clean, and each room has a designated section in the fridge and a box for non-refrigerated foods. The communal space was a nice way to meet others in the hotel. It isn’t a very walkable area, but that’s Uvita in general, so I’d recommend having a car or renting a scooter in the town (the hotel has plenty of parking spots). I worked remotely while there and the wifi was good for video calls.

In the complex there are four very well-equipped residential units that are very close to each other and all have outdoor kitchens. Our place was very clean, also the outdoor area was very well maintained (in front of the units + pool). You should be aware that - especially when the adjacent times are also occupied - it can be a little livelier. About the host: Gerardo is extremely nice, helpful and available at any time. If something was needed, he was always available within a very short time with a response or a solution. In addition, you can organize excursions directly with him. We recommend the place.

The facilities are super complete, and the service as well. Gerardo literally helped us in everything we asked for, always friendly and accessible, it's nice to go to places and bump into people like that. When we return to the area there is no doubt that we will stay at this place again.

If we could give the Macaws 10 stars we would. This is the best AirBnB and one of the best accommodation experiences that we have ever had. Our entire vacation was great, largely because of the Macaws. Yes, the beds, location and rooms are excellent but what sets the Macaws out is the outdoor kitchen/dining area. For travellers who wished to hang out there to share stories, a meal, play a game, etc. it was the perfect setting. If you didn't want to, you could stay in your room like any other place and no one would bother you. The pool was also nice and refreshing. Finally, on a few occasions we saw big Macaws in the almond tree. Thanks Victor and Family!
