The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

Upon entering, there is a bright kitchen with appliances, an area with a single sofa bed and television, a hallway with a built-in wardrobe, a large bathroom with a tub that can be used as a shower and a beautiful double bedroom with a large wardrobe. Bed linen, bathroom and kitchen are included in the price. Breakfast is NOT included.

Its location on the lower ground floor makes it cool and well-ventilated.

The accommodation is located in a villa from the early 1900s, in a green and quiet area (Porticciolo) about 2 km from the municipality of Rio Marina. It has a private bathroom, kitchen and two double bedrooms (one of which is a double), for a maximum of four people. As the property is not completely fenced on all sides, for security reasons we prefer not to accommodate pets.
