From the kitchen window and the living room you can see the mountains Slogen and Saksa directly, with a lovely view of the fjord that is only a few meters away from the house wall. There are 3 bedrooms with a double bed and an upper bunk bed in each room, and a spacious living room with an open kitchen solution.

The large floor to ceiling windows provide a fantastic panoramic view of the beautiful mountains that surround the boathouse. Something that invites peace and relaxation. The boathouse is located close to famous areas such as Trollstigen, Geiranger, Aalesund and Atlanterhavsvegen. In the immediate vicinity are the alpine facilities at Fjellsetra and Strandafjellet. Sunnmørsalpene is known for its fantastic hiking area in summer and winter.

Great cabin in Sunnmørsalpene. The cabin is located just a few hundred meters from the ski resort and short access to several kilometers of cross-country trails with lights for an evening trip. There are also many opportunities for top trips for all skill levels. There is also the possibility to rent a 16-foot leisure boat with 40hp. This is located in Sykkylven city centre (20 min drive from the cabin). Here there are life jackets and fishing equipment if you are interested. Rental must be pre-booked a good while before. Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.
