Castlehill, Sanday

Entire house on the island of Sanday with views of Loch Bea at the rear. Sanday is reached by ferry or plane from Orkney Mainland. Next to a working farm, Castlehill has three large bedrooms each with double bed and one has two bunk beds. Also two bathrooms, a large kitchen-diner and sitting rooms with a double sofa-bed. The Sanday dial-a-bus operates a ferry pick-up. A shop and pubs are close. The nearby loch is good for trout fishing. Sit-on-top kayaks available to hire. Life vests provided.

In the midst of the historic sites in the west mainland including Skara Brae, Maeshowe and Ness of Brogar, and only a few miles from Stromness and Kirkwall. Beautiful beaches of Birsay and Skail are also a short drive away. We are also on the shore of the Harray Loch which is renowned for its trout fishing.
