Nice carriage house. Perfect location to walk around in the Highlands neighborhood. Location was walkable to many restaurants and bars. The hosts were very accommodating. The price was a little expensive for what it was, but it was during derby weekend, so I would imagine most places were expensive. Overall nice place in a good location. No problems, and the hosts were great.

Would stay here again! Great location close to Bardstown road. Wonderful to be able to bring the dogs. Stairs were very steep so a little difficult for an older dog but we just carried him. Apple Maps instructions take you to the back of the house.

Nice clean place to rest after a hard days work...

I originally booked 1 day short and was happy to be able to extend the stay - Tess was prompt with a response. The place was very comfortable - loved the back upper deck to have a cup of coffee in the morning. The location could be an easy walk to the down town area but we chose to drive & park - especially after our race. I would be a repeat visitor if I have a chance to go back.

We had a great stay! The location was very walkable—close to shops, restaurants, and plenty to do. The host was proactive with communication, super friendly, and made everything easy. The bed was AMAZING—seriously one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, which made our stay even better. The construction nearby was a bit loud at early times, but that's totally outside the host’s control and hopefully just temporary. The only thing we missed was having a freezer in the small fridge, but overall, everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. Would definitely recommend!

Ann’s place was perfect for our girls weekend but would also be a great space for a family. Ann’s communication was great prior to and during our stay. All directions were clear. Would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay in a residential neighborhood.

Just came back from staying 5 nights at Mark's & Jerry's place. We were a family of 4 + a 10-months old baby. The laid out worked perfect for us as our son, wife & baby took the back room & we took the front. Loved the very well equipped kitchen and all the decor (we now NEED whiskey barrels in our homes! lol) And, ofc, the location is perfect! We walked 3 out of the 5 days! Only used the car to do a few distilleries in Frankfurt & to visit Churchill Downs. We walked to many tasting rooms- Rabit Hole, Angel's Envy, Old Forester, Whiskey Thief, to name a few plus many restaurants & breweries. Communication was excellent from the time of booking to the last day. The hosts gave us local recommendations plus, very clear instructions on checking in & out. We did visit their shop but since we had a baby, we were only able to enjoy a drink once but did buy a few bottles of wine to take upstairs. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would clearly recommend. Wishing M&J the best!

Friendly and responsive host! Great location close to restaurants, shopping, downtown, and the university. Nice quiet neighborhood and grateful for a yard for our dog Barni to use!

We had a great stay at the Shantyboathouse! The place is amazing and just how it was described. Colin provided all the instructions we needed to access the place and also offered plenty of recommendations! There was even a basket filled with a bottle of wine and lots of snacks, which was such a cool addition. Every place we went to was within walking distance, which made it super simple to get everywhere, especially after partaking in some bourbon! We highly recommend Colin's place to anyone visiting Louisville. You won't regret it!

A lovely stay! Quiet at night, easily walkable to a bustling neighborhood with great restaurants/shopping. Spotlessly clean house with nice touches (thanks for the freshly roasted coffee!) Checkout could not have been easier, no fussing with linens or laundry, just consolidate trash and go. Stovetop was out of commission temporarily but hosts were proactively getting it repaired. Would be happy to book with these hosts again.

Great Airbnb that’s very comfortable and easy to fit into. Access to downtown is excellent. The off street parking is a luxury that relieves a lot of stress in an unfamiliar neighborhood, although the feel of the area is really peaceful.

This was such a great place for a couples getaway trip. We had the best time and it was super close and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again!

We were there in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby. Tam and crew had a giant cookie waiting for us decorated for the Derby. Pillows and bed were comfortable. Plenty of towels and supplies. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch each evening having cocktails with our friends. Good water pressure in the showers. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Hosts were very responsive. Would definitely come back. And a win for Sovereignty at the Derby!

Brandon was a great host! The house was easy to find & in a good location with restaurants & brewery close by. Perfect stop for traveling with our dogs, the fenced in yard was perfect! Would stay at Brandon’s place again. Thanks!

The place was great, slightly bigger than I expected. I really appreciated the two bedrooms each had outdoor access so when staying with friends and you each have a dog it made things very convenient to not disrupt each other. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Louisville!

We’ve stayed here a number of times and it is consistently great! Just what you need for a trip to Louisville. Bed is comfy. Plenty of space. Easy to cook in the kitchen. Sophia is easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We love the NULU area. Check out Nouvelle next door when you are sick of bourbon. 🍷

We had an amazing stay at Matt's condo—it was cozy, well-stocked, and instantly felt like home. The guidebook provided was incredibly detailed and helpful, offering clear instructions and great local recommendations. The location is ideal, within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and breweries, and just a short drive to downtown or Churchill Downs. The condo itself is super comfortable with plenty of in-house entertainment options including video and board games, streaming services, disco lights, and fast Wi-Fi. Matt was an exceptional host—attentive, communicative from the start, and very accommodating. This place truly deserves five stars, and I’d happily stay here again on my next visit!

Great stay!! Great location!!

Nice safe place for the value. Wasn’t a fan of the parking with a large SUV and current remodeling but it was safe and clean. The living area was spacious and comfortable. Rooms were clean.

I came out to Louisville to visit my sister who was having a baby. This place was super convenient for us since it was so close to the hospital. It was easy to get in and all the rooms were super clean. I definitely would come back to stay again!

Mathew your place was a 10 outta 10 for me. Location was with in walking distance of everything. If available will go there again.

Condo was very nice and met all our needs for a few days. Condo is in walking distance to some great restaurants and there is a great coffee shop down on the corner. Only negative is the noise that you can hear from the outside if you are there on a Friday or Saturday night. We stayed on a Thursday and a Friday and the noise was considerably louder on Friday due to some clubs located close by and the increased traffic. However; we did not hold this against John as he cannot control the outside noise. Just be prepared if you are a light sleeper or have small children.
