Very private location, backs up to a large wooded area, lots of space to spread out, walk, grill, have a nice fire in the fire pit… love the neighborhood very quiet at night and private in the day. The house is great, good floor plan for a medium to large sized family. Felt right at home with everything. Would stay here again!

Beautiful and extremely well appointed home for our family reunion and beach trip. Tia has thought of everything you could possibly want or need for a wonderful beach stay. The kitchen is well stocked - we had 3 wonderful family dinners for 11 plus 2 babies. Loved all the little extra touches everywhere and extra supplies and snacks. So thoughtful! And so close to the beach and public access. I will definitely stay at the Orca again!

These hosts provided a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. The pictures do not do the view justice! Overall, the home was clean and several amenities were throughout! If I plan to return to Topsail I will book with Kim again!

Across the road from the amazing Atlantic. The house accommodated a wonderful reunion of friends. The indoor swing set was quite a hit. The house is steps away from beach access and a short drive from “downtown” surf city. Certainly recommend to any beachgoers!

Tasteful coastal decor will keep you on "island time" while you are here. You won't be disappointed. It's a good day to Sail Away!

Ward House is the oldest inhabited home in Jacksonville and is in the historic Mill Avenue district that Jacksonville's founding father, Dr. Richard Ward, surveyed and developed in 1890. Fully restored in 2007, this unit features 11' ceilings, full kitchen with island, large dining room with ornate chandelier, hand-carved cherry King bed with matching vanities, and a walk-in closet. This place is super adorable and very close to the beach. The kids LOVED the indoor swings and our whole family felt very comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Amazing property, beautiful home, and the hosts were exceptional. I felt like we were staying with family. Can't wait to go back.

Highly recommend! Perfect location for full days in the Surf City area, then back to the home to relax and sleep. Great home for a family including a deck and yard for outdoor time.
