The place is magical - a huge garden with stunning views and absolutely quiet. In the village, there is an alimentari that has everything you need and a great pizzeria. Cannero is 15 minutes away and Cannobio and Verbania are also within easy reach. We thought the beautiful location was magical :)

Quiet comfortable place with slightly quirky decor and great view from the balcony. Two comfortable bedrooms. Kitchen is fully equipped, but small and with a low ceiling. Communication with host was good and check in easy. In general all good.

Enrico's Rustico is very tastefully decorated and in the household you will find everything you need. Very easily accessible by public transport, so we could do super nice hikes throughout the valley. Now in May, we hardly met any other hikers. There are two restaurants in the village, but no shop, so bring food if you want to spend a while in this archaic world without crowds or otherwise eat in the beautifully located restaurants. We are very pleased to have found such quiet places in Switzerland. Thanks to Enrico!

Right in front of the lake.. Has a little patio where you can have your coffee. Peaceful. has a dual heater and a/c unit that works great for quick temperature changes.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

We were on vacation with two teenagers and enjoyed the time very much. Very spacious accommodation with a spectacular view. There was everything that made the family vacation easier. Excursions to the surrounding area are very possible because of a convenient location. Had a great time despite the rain. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We had a fabulous time at Elena's place! As many others have said, the house is enormous and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. We weren't familiar with this area before our visit, but we quickly fell in love with it. Elena gave us such a warm welcome and took wonderful care of us and our dogs. We definitely hope to visit again in the near future.

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

We stayed at the property for four days and enjoyed the time very much. The accommodation is lovingly decorated and there is everything you need. It's also worth walking to the village and strolling through the small alleys. Down on the main road there is a small delicatessen, which appealed to us very much. Within 10 minutes you are in Stresa and in 20 minutes in Arona, where you can shop well. We will be happy to come back!

Very nice place to stay with pool, well located!

Unfortunately, we were only there for one day, but it was still worth it! The location is very good, close to the train station and the lake, and from the great terrace you can see Lake Maggiore while relaxing in the hot tub. Ideal for relaxing!

Jenny & Yvan's house is ideal for spending a few peaceful days and relaxing. Beautiful walks possible from the house, the surrounding nature is beautiful. Camedo train station is an 8-minute drive. We took advantage of it and did the whole Centovalli valley to Domodossola by train, the views are spectacular.

We loved staying here, the rustico was renovated with a lot of love. Everything worked perfectly from A to Z and Michelle always responded extremely quickly. The village of Aurigeno is very quiet, the villagers meet in the small osteria after work and you feel very welcome. You can take wonderful excursions into nature and there are various grottos in the area. We were able to relax perfectly.

This property is immersed in nature and promises a glorious view and absolute tranquility. The hilly area is wonderful to explore on steep hiking trails. The rustico was clean and cozy, basic amenities are available. There is no refrigerator, but you can enjoy the luxury of a warm shower. There is light in the house, but I would recommend bringing a lantern for outside. Romina is very friendly and showed us everything, communication was straightforward. I'd love to come back.

We had a truly wonderful stay (6 nights) at this beautiful house — just the two of us and our dog — and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The property is surrounded by a stunning, fragrant rose garden that invites you to slow down and breathe it all in. It’s incredibly peaceful, yet you’re just a short drive from the local village and Domodossola, making it the ideal balance of nature and convenience. Kali and Ken are amazing hosts — warm, welcoming, and generous in sharing their little piece of paradise. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. On sunny days, relaxing in the garden feels like a dream, and on rainy days, the cozy couch is the perfect spot to curl up with a book. Our dog also had the time of her life, enjoying the vast grounds and proudly watching over everything. Huge thanks to Kali and Ken for creating and sharing such a magical place. Terrazza sur lago surpassed expectations! We chose to come in from Lugano by Uber (a new service just offered in 2025), from there you do have some stairs to negotiate to the beautiful apartment. However, another option is to take a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Gandria if you have time and want fewer stairs. Once you arrive, you will find the sparkling clean apartment better than the photos. The kitchen is spacious and very well fit out. A nice dining table provides great views of Lago Lugano. Two spacious bedrooms, both offer great lake views, one with a walk-out to a large patio area, with table, chairs, umbrella and comfy furniture for kicking back. We ate every breakfast out there taking in the lake. A quick 10 minute Uber ride puts you in Lugano - tons of restaurants, shopping and nite life. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the funicular for Mounte Bré (great views and hikes). In town - try the Olive Trail hike in Gandria or take a ferry tour of the lake. Bellissimo!

Sandro is a very friendly host. Communication was easy and fast. If there were any questions, he also called quickly to explain everything. Everything was as described and clean. The apartment contains no unnecessary furnishings and is very clearly structured. The whole apartment is tastefully and newly furnished. Also the bathroom is very nicely made. But we liked the balcony and the view best. You can see the lake from the balcony. The lake can also be reached very quickly. Fortunately, it was very quiet at night. Thus, you can also leave the window open on warmer nights. What is also very good for guests with an electric car is the charging station around the corner. Just 210 meters away is a BMW dealer with a 150KWh charging station. That was super convenient, of course.
