Since the entire unit is available for rental, you can enjoy a private stay without worrying about the surroundings. Maximum of 3 guests, including couples, married couples, and friends. To ensure a comfortable night's sleep, we use Simmons mattresses on the beds and Airweave mattresses on the sofa beds. High-speed internet is also available, making it ideal for workation. Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles. There is also a restaurant nearby that serves Omi beef, so you can enjoy teppanyaki grilled with Omi beef.

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
