I had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend staying here. My mother and I went up for some peace and relaxation and, even raining all weekend, we both immensely enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was beautiful! The screened in porch, skylights, and fire pit made the environment perfect. Chris was extremely responsive on any and all questions I had in regards to what I could expect when getting to the cabin and made sure that everything was laid out clearly for us on arrival so we had very little questions on checking in/out and expectations while there. You are attached to Moose Cabin, and sometimes we could tell people were in the area when someone laughed too hard, but even that close, we never really heard the people next to us and never once saw them though we were outside often. It was definitely affordable and worth the money considering I felt at home with all the personal effects but had a hotel level of cleanliness.

We took a weekend trip as a group of busy moms. We went away to find peace and be in nature and thats exactly what we got. The house was in great shape and well maintained.

Ryan’s place was beautiful and peaceful. It was perfect for children as the yard is fenced in and non hazardous for young children. Hot tub was perfect house was spotless with all the necessities you would need for day to day. It was a perfect peaceful weekend away with my friends and children. Ryan was the perfect host who communicated clearly and very responsive. Will visit again

We stayed at Jon's place for our snowmobile trip. Jon was extremely helpful with letting us know the local restaurants and where to ride. He went over and above trying to help us plan our daily rides. The BBQ was also put away for the winter but once asked about it, he got it out for us without hesitation. The cottage itself is nice homey place with a wood stove and separate games room where everyone can hang out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place!

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here and we appreciated the use of the kayaks, the beautiful and peaceful setting, and evening campfires. Most evenings we would take a walk down the road to view gorgeous sunsets on the pond.

This was our fifth year coming up to Camp David. I don't even look for another place because we know that this is our "home away from home" for a few super relaxing days. Everything you need is there. Very quiet and private. Always a great escape here. And Mike is extremely responsive and accommodating. Can't wait until next year.

It was incredible to find a place with such serene woods and its own sandy beach and kayaks for use! The pond was scenic and relaxing to paddle around in. My dog enjoyed sniffing through the woods and hiking thru the nearby Forest Preserve. Out hosts certainly had that warm North Country hospitality. I always appreciate when a host trusts a guest to bring their pup, and is happy to mail you your hat when you leave it behind! Additionally, everything about checking out was written up and clear - happy to save some $ on cleaning costs by tossing our used things in the wash ourselves. It honestly added to that ‘home away from home’ feeling.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Syracuse. Although a drive from the city, it was a great choice for hanging out away from the busyness of Syracuse. We really enjoyed our time here and it was a good set up for my ILs who had access to the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Absolutely love this place!! Very peaceful and remote. Will be back!!

We had another wonderful stay at the Dollhouse. The weather was perfect and the hiking (which includes a great hike from the front door) was amazing. The sunsets on the back porch were delightful. Evenings in front of the fireplace were a great way to end the day. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. The Dollhouse worked perfect for a family gathering and everyone enjoyed their visit. Virginia is an exceptional and responsive host. We had a problem with the internet, and she responded immediately and solved the problem. We plan to be back again next year.

We enjoyed staying here in this very nice historical building while visiting our grandson at Hamilton College. The flights of stairs up to our apartment were not too much of a challenge for us oldsters. The apartment was spacious, clean, tidy, and well appointed with linens and towels. There was a very fancy espresso machine. However I had no idea how to operate it! Luckily there was a cozy coffee shop right next door for morning coffee and pastries. Richard was easy to contact and answered our calls quickly. We would like to stay here again!

We booked this cabin for a girls weekend getaway. It was lovely. The cabin is clean and well laid out. The kitchen area was actually a bit bigger than it looked in the pictures. The dock, the deck and the fire pit area have lots of comfortable seating to enjoy the views of the lake. Get up for the sunrise, it was beautiful. Just a short drive into Old Forge for restaurants and shopping and very close to the Bald Mountain Trailhead. Our first night we grabbed a bite at the tavern next store. The food and the service were both great! The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. I would definitely book this cabin again. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great spot. Unbelievably peaceful and quiet.

This little apartment was the perfect place for my mom and I to relax and have a lovely time in Sylvan Beach! Roomier than I expected from the pictures which was a great surprise (for some reason I imagined you had to walk through the one bedroom to get to the other- that’s not true at all! There is a separate hallway that connects the two and the one to the living room space). The location on the beach is just perfect, and a wonderful yard with multiple spaces/ uses. Chris was so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. A great host at a great place- we will definitely be looking to book again in the future!!! Only tiny downside is no full kitchen- but Chris provides a grill, toaster, microwave, and griddle. Besides, it’s vacation and there are great restaurants in town- who wants to cook on vacation anyways???

Had a great quick stay at David’s cozy spot. Very well stocked with coffee bagels milk yogurt the whole 9. Felt very taken care of. Nice green space on the proper too so you can sit and enjoy the breeze. Location was walkable to some of Romes sights and maybe 10-15 walk to restaurants. Very nice area and I would stay again!

ideally, located for parents weekend at the camps, the suite has beautiful views and comfortable rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the host was helpful and communicative.

Beautiful industrial decor and an outstanding view of downtown! Maria’s suite was clean and comfortable with a TON of space. Perfect for a couple looking to explore Utica as it is extremely conveniently located! Would definitely recommend it!

Comfortable, cozy stay, close to the lake, house was fully furnished with everything necessary especially in the kitchen. Quick responses from home owner and flexible which was convenient. Early check -in and late check-out was a plus also

Great location right at White Lake. We all enjoyed the lake fishing and kayaking, swimming and just playing, listening to the frogs. We enjoyed going into Old Forge for coffee at Blue Line, took in a movie at Strand Theatre and souvenir shopping. Biked and hiked and sat around the campfire. The main cabin is not very large, the 4 full size bunks were comfy, but right in the main living area. The teenagers enjoyed sleeping on the sofas. My husband and I enjoyed the guest cabin, which had a bathroom, shower, small kitchenette and living room. My one daughter stayed in the boat house, no bathroom in there, but it had 3 beds 2 twin and 1 full and a tv and little deck at the water. I would come back to Camp Happy Our.

This is the second time I have stayed at Leanne’s place and it was wonderful. We experienced few issues in the beginning of our stay this time around but Leanne was prompt and friendly at resolving these. The location is excellent—private and beautiful. Truly a serene experience. Leanne’s place offers wonderful amenities for outdoor adventures or if you’d prefer to stay in, the cabin is cozy and well equipped. Beds and linens are better than your average airbnb stay as well.
