Cabin vacation rentals in Old Forge

Once again, we had another fabulous stay at one of Jon’s properties! What I loved most was the (pristine) private hot tub! Another wonderful advantage of booking through Jon and his wife, there is always something extra when compared to hotels! I love Old Forge, but was always a little bit disappointed with what the town offered for accommodations, but NO MORE! All of Jon’s properties are beautifully updated, scrupulously clean, and have varied amenities to take advantage of! We will only use Jon’s listings for all of our future Old Forge adventures!

Pine cone paradise was super cute for the weekend. Hot tub and fire pit are major pluses. Wood on site. Creek out back was beautiful. Dog loved it. Quick to respond hosts!!

The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

It was a very peaceful and relaxing setting. Everything was great. Hot tub is new and worked great. We had a lot of rain and spent a lot of time inside. It was very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay. Pictures do not do the house justice - very comfortable, wonderful deck space, pool was ideal, and kayaks and canoe were used daily. Gorgeous quiet space to relax and unwind. Loved the dog wash station - especially after several muddy hikes! The outdoor fireplace was the perfect spot to relax at the end of the day.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

It was such a beautiful place to celebrate with our friend’s 30th birthday! Very clean and the Jacuzzi was great! The guys enjoy the pool table they had! Defiantly recommend anyone to stay there for a get away.

This cabin is nestled in the woods providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere, yet its 2 mins from town so anything you might need is conveniently located. The cabin is adorable, the outdoor space with the fire pit is perfect for enjoying a campfire, and the trails right behind the cabin are so convenient for nature lovers.

Ben’s home was as described in the listing. There were 7 adults in our group and we were all comfortable. There was space to spread out and relax as well. It was a short drive into town and close to McCauley Mountain for skiing. We would definitely stay here again. Ben provided good directions to find the house and check in was easy.

We had an amazing stay! The property is just as described and was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the record player while playing games by the fire! Charlene responded to my messages promptly and was friendly and helpful! We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire pit too! This property is in a good location! Secluded but a close enough drive to Herkimer Diamond mine which is what brought us to the area. Hoping to be back in the future to explore some more! We will stay here again if ever in the area! Thank you for sharing your home with us! It was a blessing!

Cozy cottage, with great access to Mud Pond! Highly recommend bringing kayaks!

This was our 2nd stay at Johnny’s house. The home is absolutely beautiful. It was a great place for us to vacation with our family. We enjoyed spending our evenings outside around the fire. We also enjoyed the large game room. The house is very clean and the kitchen is fully furnished.

First of all the pictures for this place don’t do it justice! It’s a beautiful home and way bigger than we expected! We had a great weekend at John’s place and can’t wait to comeback and stay again.

We had a great stay! This place was everything we wanted for our long weekend getaway! So comfortable and really had that Adirondack feel, especially relaxing in the living room space. The deck and area out front facing the water are beautiful, and if the weather was nicer, we would’ve certainly taken advantage of it more. It’s a really great location very close to the town of Old Forge. Will definitely be booking again! Thanks Mark!!

Don’t hesitate… book Danicia’s place! My fiancé basically grew up on old forge and thought it was a great idea to spend his birthday weekend here. We loved everything about Danicia’s place! It was squeaky clean, warm and cozy. Perfect for a winter weekend getaway! This was a perfect place for us because we had direct snowmobile trail access. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this Airbnb again! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you again for everything

Jade was incredibly friendly and very proactive. She sent our check-in information well in advance and told us we could check in early if we got in ahead of schedule. All the necessary amenities were provided and in good working order. Jade always responded immediately to questions, checked in on us to make sure we got situated and followed up after we left. She even offered us the camp for another night because the roads were closed due to a state of emergency. I can’t say enough about her hospitality.

We loved our winter escape to this cozy camp in Old Forge area with a great view of the lake! Entering the cabin through the garage/basement makes it feel like you’re staying in a treehouse! The cabin is gorgeous and beautifully decorated with Adirondack furniture and fixtures. It has all the amenities for a great stay with plenty of large beds and bathrooms. We stayed with 6 people total and had plenty of room to relax and unwind. We spent a day skiing at nearby McCauley Mountain, which is small but mighty and had fabulous ski conditions. We rented snowmobiles about 3 miles away and had so much fun on the trail system with great, toasty stops to warm up at Big Moose Station and Norridgewock Lodge. The best part of the cabin was coming back to defrost by the awesome fireplace! The town has great shops and we loved the Fulton Chain Brewery and Nest restaurant (highly recommend the Pork Ribeye and bread pudding!) We all agreed this place is awesome and would love to stay in the summer!

Julie was a great host. We would love to visit Old Forge in the future.
