Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Family paradise in the country

A beautiful house in the countryside located just 2km outside of the small town of Ólafsfjörður. Ideal for families to relax and enjoy the nature. In the summertime there is access to a lake and a lot of beautiful walking trails and hikes in the surrounding mountains. In the wintertime this is an absolute paradise for skiing and all kinds of winter sports and activities. On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders. Horse riding is mostly available from April till September.

This was a lovely place to stay! The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to cook. Our host was very friendly and super responsive! My husband and I felt right at home!

A very cozy and peaceful cabin in a beautiful surrounding. We were 7 people in total, and we fit very well in the cabin.

Such a pristine setting and view! This was such a quaint village with the kindest people. The weather was not as we expected and Thora brought us some lovely pastries and waffle ingredients plus a puzzle! This was far above and beyond! The view and setup of the house was beyond compare. It’s within 100ft of the local restaurant that has incredible food. Also within a few blocks of the fantastic geothermal bath house. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back
