From the living room and balcony you have a magnificent view of meadows, forest and fields, where chamois, fox and rabbit still say good night. There are wonderful hiking trails right from the house, which also invite you to go on winter hikes. 5 km further in Langenhart at 720 m, cross-country skiing is possible

Schwalbennest Ravensburg (Swallows Nest Ravensburg)

Our vacation home is located on the uppermost edge of the slope above the Schussental with views over the cityscape of Ravensburg and the vineyard. It is the “swallow's nest” – a small spot on the city map of Ravensburg that tells a special story.   We have preserved the former "laundry house" in which diapers were once washed for the children's home that was located there at the time, and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. The special flair of this cottage has been maintained.

Our cozy apartment is ideal for 1 - 3 guests who want a relaxing break outside the hectic city. A great starting point for excursions by bike or on foot in the beautiful surroundings and to interesting destinations. It's only a few minutes down the mountain to the lake. Here you can transfer to Meersburg by ferry - and the island of Mainau is also not far away. A beautiful long waterfront path or the free, direct bus (about 20 min.) leads to the old town.

There are various restaurants (hotels, Thai snack bar, pizzeria, etc.) in the area and all within walking distance.
