In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

A serene outdoor garden area is visible through expansive sliding glass doors. Flat stones create a pathway amidst lush greenery and ornamental plants. A traditional stone lantern stands prominently, surrounded by gravel and delicate, leafless branches, enhancing the tranquil view of the nearby Kamo river.

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.
