We had a great time at Michel's outbuilding; the place is extremely quiet and relaxing. The garden, with the pool, is particularly pleasant: the different small corners arranged by Michel give the possibility to sit both in the shade and in the sun, and therefore to stay outside most of the time… if the weather allows it! Michel is a very welcoming host and was responsive throughout our stay, thank you very much!

The place is very spacious full equiped with anything we needed plus the swimming pool made it extra enjoyable. I was very pleased staying here and fully recommend for a family, until a next time!

Dominique and Francois really did their utmost to make me feel comfortable. Always available...never intrusive and very helpful and friendly. Also a quiet sweet dog (Django) The garden is beautiful and the cottage comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Good shower...great bed, full kitchen. Easy access to the river with the option to dock your own boat at one of the jetties. In short...I had a TOP holiday and have already booked again. Dominique and Francois....thank you!!!!

We spent 4 nights in L’Ombraie, we had a brilliant experience. The apartment was perfect for us, the location, facilities and garden. We made great use of the bikes, travelling to L’Herbe and Pointe Cap Ferret, it was a pleasure to cycle on safe paths. Jean was very helpful, organising a lift to the ferry and a replacement bike when one was broken. The vibe in village and surrounding area was very relaxed. Enjoy!

We had a great evening in this cozy little corner. The jacuzzi and pool room is very pleasant and easy to use. We had a very warm welcome from Lydie. The breakfast is very hearty. This place is very peaceful. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Staying at Nadine’s cottage was the biggest treat on our trip! Nadine was so kind- offering to make reservations for us and giving us wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. She was super responsive and felt like a dear friend. Her place is so beautiful! Trust me when I say - you absolutely need to book your stay here! It is a gorgeous French cottage built in the 1700’s . Nadine has it decorated so beautifully! We felt like we had stepped into a novel. The grounds are also beautiful. This was our favorite stay on our 2 week trip and I’ve stayed in so many Airbnbs over the years - this little gem was my favorite of all time!

We had a truly memorable stay at Karen and Laka’s beautiful home in the peaceful village of Varen, France. The location is ideal for exploring some of the most charming towns in the region - Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi, and more are all within easy reach. The property itself is thoughtfully appointed, with a lovely private patio garden that opens up to a breathtaking meadow. The swimming pool is perfectly positioned to take in sweeping views of the countryside, forest, and even the village church tower - it’s the kind of peaceful backdrop that invites deep relaxation. Karen and Laka are warm, welcoming hosts who instantly make you feel at home. They offered fantastic local tips and recommendations, clearly sharing a strong connection to their community. Their genuine hospitality made the experience feel less like a rental and more like a second home. 10/10 we’d love to return and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic French break.

Pierre and Christianne are lovely hosts. Their accommodation is really perfect, well arranged, clean, everything is well thought out, nothing is missing, it is tastefully decorated with lots of adorable little details and special attention for the occupants when they arrive. Very well-appointed studio and large enough for 2 people, very quiet neighborhood close to shops. Nicolas is a very discreet and attentive host. I recommend it.

We were hosted very well by our hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and well-equipped. The setting is quiet, close to nature and relaxing. In addition, we were able to leave with organic goat cheeses produced right across the street. We had a great weekend thanks to the kindness of our hosts, the surrounding quiet and the location of the cottage, perfectly located in a very beautiful area.
