Loved everything about this place! I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I will say, it is quite far from Chicago. It didn’t quite matter for me as I knew I wanted to find a place away from the city but on a week day it is about an hour or so from downtown. The place was quiet, pillows insanely comfortable, amazing shower, kitchen was great and well equipped, clean washer and dryer, easy to get in and out of the place. Great place to stay.

Ami’s place was very clean. We felt at home. We got in super early and were tired. Ami was accommodating and provided an earlier check in time. The beds were comfortable and the dark out shades were ideal. The garage availability was also great! I highly recommend Ami’s place. Me and my family enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at this place. The location is very nice. Get to be outside of downtown still while close enough to visit whenever you’d like. The retro vibes of the home itself is very cozy and unique. Will definitely book again if we ever come back.

This was such a cute, cozy, and clean place to stay for a weekend trip! The house provided everything we did need and anything we could have needed. Hosts went above an beyond to make sure we were welcomed, including a personal note and bottle of wine, and they checked in to ensure everything met our expectations. Location were close to all attractions and was in a nice neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

This was the 2nd time staying at the treehouse and it was even more lovely than the 1st time. The space is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Charles and Jeremy went out of their way to communicate details to make our stay even better. We love it here and hope to return again someday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s house! It was clean, great location & cozy! We especially loved the automatic pool cover so we could actually relax on vacation with our little ones running around. I also loved the three separate areas outside (pool, fire pit, grassy area). The separate areas offered a nice change of scenery to break up the day without leaving the house. I also loved that it’s a spacious ranch style house, so was easy to keep eyes on the kids. Jennifer was a wonderful & accommodating host & can’t wait to get back to her house soon! Thanks for having us!

This was our 2nd stay as a family of 4 at Jean’s place. Planning a 3rd trip for next summer. None of us wanted to leave. Jean should get 100⭐️ for value. The kids absolutely LOVE the paddle boat. We paddled the entire lake multiple times! Regarding the area; we went on several bike rides around the neighborhood. Nice & flat, easy for the kids. This time we did adventure out to the town the Albion, about 20 min drive away. The park they have there is great. Playground, splash pad, walking trail & skate park. We also ventured to Fort Wayne zoo, 40 min. Drive. Well worth it if you have kids. They offer several rides in addition to the zoo.

We had a great stay overall. From start to finish, Kailash was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. We needed a long-term stay with 2 big dogs, and this house worked great for us. We didn't get to use the pool much because the weather didn't cooperate, but the pool and patio area are gorgeous. The location is great, close to everything - grocery stores, restaurants, etc. There is a trail behind the house (accessible through a gate in the back yard), and it leads to a beautiful and huge forest preserve - beautiful for walks/hikes in the woods! The kitchen was a great space for us, and it had everything we might need for cooking, etc. The house was very comfortable for our family, and we would come again. Thank you, Kailash!

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

This place was amazing for our family vacation. The goal was to spend family time together & there was plenty for us all to do. Lots of outdoor activities in nature! The beach was great for adult hang-out & games of spike ball (which we brought), & fun in the sand for the kids. Loved our pontoon boat rides & campfires as well. The indoor pool was great anytime day & night & was always a good back up in case it we had rain. The common areas were large enough for us to all have space & there was plenty of sleeping room. We had an amazing time & will definitely revisit. Ryan was courteous & quick to respond. Absolutely loved this trip!

Amys place is beautiful,all we had to do is check in with our food and clothes,we needed nothing else place is amazing,returning next year!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

Lovely home, many well thought out perks like fans in upstairs rooms and beach toys for kids! Info said it was an easy short walk to beach so I spent a whole lot more than I usually would. With children it would not be pleasant and is really not a short walk (and is on a semi busy road) & beach is down a whole lot of steps. BUT there are parking spaces so it was fine. Within the house, the steps are fairly steep at parts & there are 2?big ones going into house &!these were hard for my 70 year old mom w knee issues. So if person reading reviews is one of those people, this might not be THE place. That being said, it is very short walk to community pool & host is very responsive & house is beautiful! My mom mostly stayed within first floor including an awesome bed/bath on ground floor. There are games (although I didn’t love the Ouija board 🫣😂) . This would be a great place for multiple family / friends to split cost ;) Its very beautiful & community pool & hot tub are great!

A great stay close to the Dunes! We took the South Shore Line into Chicago and did the 3 Dune Challenge and both were great. Highly recommend this place.

Derek is an amazing host. Super responsive and helpful. Lots of beautiful hikes in the area. Miller woods and Lake Street beach/Marquette park are my favorite spots. Miller station for South Shore Line is also less than 10 min away. Great cheap food in the area also. Horses are friendly and setting very serene.

We are repeat visitors to the farm and will always choose Julia’s when we’re in the area. The location is the perfect blend of convenient and tranquil, plus the surrounding views and quiet nights can’t be beat! The house has everything we need without being too much or too fussy, as some properties are. As rural dwellers ourselves, we and our pups feel right at home at this lovely little patch of Heaven.

Simply beautiful! My daughter ( 7 year old) and my goddaughter ( 5 year old) enjoyed themselves! We loved the layout, beautiful scenery, spacious rooms, the updated amenities, the spa bathtub and the outdoor patio swing is amazing! This house is somewhere you can relax and rewind, enjoy yourself and feel safe at! Angie, is the best! I recommend you stay at Angie’s beach house! You will love this house!!!!!!

Great place for quiet and peaceful relaxation. Very clean and was well stocked with everything you need.

My wife, our dog and I stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend to relax away from the city. It was the perfect country escape- peaceful, tranquil and still a quick drive to everything we wanted to explore. We mostly went to New Buffalo for restaurants and kayaking, and to the Indiana Dunes for hiking. The farmhouse was tastefully decorated with upscale amenities (like the coffee maker we decided to purchase when we got home). Mornings were spent reading on the screened in porch, listening to the birds and watching the chickens outside. There’s plenty of seating if you have a larger group, with tables inside and outside for meals. Stefanie was a wonderful host, her guidebook has great recommendations of things to do in the area and she gave very helpful instructions for the house. We definitely hope to return sometime as it’s so close to Chicago! Perfect weekend trip.
