Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Norway

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. wonderful location to stay and explore the northern Lapland

Overall, we had a lovely stay. It was very quiet and the view was beautiful!! We were even able to see aurora lights. We will be happy to come back!!

We had a lovely stay at Beatte & Håvard's cabin. They made us feel right at home including special touches like having a few toys for our 6 year old. The location was magical and our only regret is that we only booked for 4 nights instead of longer. Everything is set up to be cozy and peaceful. They had great recommendations for local hikes and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Definitely recommend!

Per was an exceptional host! Out of 100 stays, he is by far the best host we have had. Per made sure everything was perfect for the stay. The kids loved the snow on the farm and Per sorted out a sledding hill for them along with all the bits and bobs needed to enjoy the cold weather. He went above and beyond and I am grateful for the hospitality and love that he showed myself, wife, and three kids. Thank you!

Jonathan’s rental house in Fjordgård was simply wonderful. Right on the water in a small town in Senja. Hiking trails to Hesten mountain and other locations are literally right outside the door! A floating sauna, which can be rented by the hour is a few doors down. The house is comfortably furnished with modern and extremely comfortable design. Four bedrooms upstairs were just right for our party of six. Would definitely stay again.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

“Beautiful home on private peninsula” is the perfect description. This is our second stay here at this amazing property. We’ve held very fond memories of staying at Vladimir’s House and we were not disappointed on our return! It is located on its own peninsula surrounded by water, sheep and birds. It had everything we needed and more so. Vladimir was friendly, quick to reply and really helpful. We are already planning our future visits. Thanks Vladimir.

Wonderful stay at a quiet location close enough to walk down the street to restaurants. Hosts let me park the motorcycle in the garage, and had the door open and ready for me. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

In the amazing scenery, a wonderful, cozy and homely apartment for a couple and two dogs. Everything was spotless and the dock in our own use was absolutely amazing!

Very nice, clean and functional studio apartment. Communication with the host was always easy and friendly, they answered all our questions and provided useful tips on the area. I absolutely recommend it!

It's a studio that has everything. It is very tastefully decorated, which makes the stay, if possible, more pleasant, and what can I say about the terrace with spectacular views. 100% recommended.👍🥂

It is a great private accommodation that is clean and has a beautiful view.The host, Lillian, is also kind and quick to respond.Fully equipped with amenities and kitchenware, you don't need to go shopping extra.The surroundings are surrounded by silence, and you can spend quiet time.We were disliked by the weather and the sun breeze and didn't make it possible to see the Northern Lights in our 5 day stay, but if conditions are in place, you will be able to admire them from the deck and the large windows inside.We recommend using a rental car as public transportation is extremely reduced on Saturdays and Thursdays.

The wooden sea house is very authentic and tastefully decorated. Sufficient space for 4 people. Walking distance to the beach and beautiful base for visiting island Hailuoto and city Oulu.

Peder is very nice host with clear instructions. He took care of us from beginning to end. Especially he gave us the fresh fish when he knew we like fresh fish. He made a special fishing for us that day. The fish is so fresh and tasted. He offered us a lot of activities if we have a free time. The place is surrounded in wood and very peaceful. It is good for a family for a long vacation. We strongly recommend it.

The house was really wonderful and we had an amazing holiday! Area is so beautiful! It is in walking distance from shops and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet and easy to get around. The house itself is cosy and nicely decorated. Everything was super clean. We were delighted, how well equipped the kitchen was. We could come back anytime!!
