Cottage vacation rentals in Northern Norway

Great place to stay if you’re looking for something a bit more out there - not a typical Airbnb experience but we really enjoyed it. Only real negative was a very creaky bed.

Our second visit to this cottage, which has a good level of equipment, dishes, spices, and basics. High-quality bedding and linens. Warm decor. Hot tub nicely protected by the forest, in privacy. With dogs, it's easy to go jogging in the woods. We'll have a great time, and I'm sure we'll book again. Thank you to the owner for the welcome!

Incredible surroundings. We were fortunate to have a crisp clear night when the Aurora appeared above the house. We also had lots of snow which was great fun for walking, sledging and playing. The hot tub is a wonderful indulgence.

The cottage is exactly as described and set in beautiful surroundings. The grilling hut and sauna are great additions and really add to the experience, whilst the location allows for peaceful walks and an opportunity to see the northern lights when down by the frozen sea! Would definitely recommend

Magic place and cottage, Annele are a super host!

We spent our honeymoon in this beautiful cottage. Marja was always responsive, whether before the trip for preparation or during the stay. She recommended many places to us and we were never disappointed! As for the cottage, it is perfect, comfortable and functional (apart from the absence of a shower). It is well arranged and the nature around is magical. The listing photos are good but the cottage is even better in real life! It was a really wonderful week that will have marked us forever.

Sick cozy place! The cottage was very nice and cozy, good beds, good climate, fresh toilet etc. Great instructions and close to city center

We absolutely loved it! The cabin is totally homely and invites you to cozy games afternoons in front of the flickering oven. The kitchen is well equipped, even basic food such as flour, tea, various Spices, pasta, rice, etc. were available. Not unimportant if the nearest supermarket is 70km away. The lake is less than a five minute walk away, a perfect spot to look at the aurora lights. Unobstructed view in all directions, as far as the clouds allow ;-) No noteworthy light pollution in the area, a dream. Tero recommended various activities on request, so we met Janne, the reindeer in Unari. This was truly a special experience to stand among hundreds of reindeer who have been fuming around the food like wild. We felt like we were in an animal documentary;-) So if you like it secluded, this is the place to be:-D

Well appointed and comfortable accommodation. Good bedding and complete equipment. Location is lovely. Christina is very responsive and friendly.

We quickly felt at home with a comfortable space and a typical atmosphere that we like to find in a trip abroad. The location is ideal for ski touring activities in the Lyngen Alps. The owner of the premises is very involved in hosting these hosts and makes sure everything is well. I recommend.

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and quite beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

A nice and comfortable cottage in an amazing location. Absolutely silent around, next to the lake and the forest. Really nice to relax and enjoy the nature around.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The view from the house to the fjord is fantastic! The house is very nice and cozy. The sauna is also very nice and also offers a beautiful view of the fjord. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Sissel's house is simply magical for lovers of nature, calm and ornithology. It is very well-equipped, nothing is missing and was sparkling clean.  The view  from the living room and kitchen is spectacular. The two super comfortable armchairs that are perfect for watching the beautiful nature for hours, won us over. Sissel is a just perfect, responsive host, with an extraordinary sense of hospitality and really very accommodating. Finally, the richness of the birds we were able to admire in the area added a magical touch to our stay. We can't wait to come back for longer to enjoy this exceptional place even more!

Anita's cottage is very nice, small but well-kept. The place is great, close with a pleasant walk, to markets and bars. The accommodation is suitable for 4 people, no more because the spaces especially in the kitchen-living area, are really small. Great sauna and boot dryer-warmer!

Very kind and communicative host, very helpful. Beautiful cabin, the scenery from the cabin was wildly beautiful. We saw the aura borealis from the window two nights of our trip, if it’s Icy and snowy and you’re in a car with front wheel drive you may have a difficult time getting up the hill, like we did, but overall it was a magical experience

We had booked a longstay for a Workation. The wifi was excellent and we worked from the living room with great views of the bay. Kristina, our host, was very helpful and proactively thought along to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In the beautiful nature with the enjoyable city of Luleå 25 minutes away, this is a great place to stay longer as well.

We had an amazing time in this cozy and well-equipped cabin. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. They were always available and helped us with every question we had, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The cabin offers a great selection of sports equipment, including snowshoes and sleds—perfect for outdoor adventures. The breathtaking nature surrounding the cabin made our stay even more special. We especially loved the stunning view of the frozen lake and the beautiful snow-covered forests, which created a magical winter wonderland. The neighbors were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. This place is safe, family-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly felt comfortable and would love to come back!
