Beach house vacation rentals in Northern Neck

second time staying here and it was better than i remembered. the house itself is incredible.. huge kitchen island for entertaining, immaculate bedrooms, and that back window wall is just spectacular. 10/10 vibes, love this place!

Very roomy for a family vacation. Great location and covered porch was great for taking in views of river and enjoying summer breeze. Host was responsive and provided detailed instructions.

Less than .5 miles from sand . The kids loved staying at the house versus a hotel ! Was the perfect spot to relax and go on the deck to hear the water . Would definitely go back for another vacation.

The house location is very private and secluded. We had an issue with the WiFi on the first night and Eric came out and reset it for us and it worked perfectly the rest of the time. The view is amazing and watching the Bald Eagle fly overhead and deer come through the yard were some of our favorites. The turtles on the log right down the road were a daily favorite as well.

My wife is a bit of a planner so scheduling a last-minute getaway is not something I do often, but I'm so glad I did. This was exactly what we needed, A few days away from the stresses of life and family. This home met all of those needs. It was quiet, secluded and overall a very beautiful location and home. It had everything we needed and more. The small towns of White Stone and Kilmarnock offered many fantastic food options which we definitely took advantage of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already started looking to see if we can plan a trip here with the whole family. Thanks again to our host who was very responsive and helped answer all of our questions.

this was our second time visiting after 2 years it looked fresh and clean and beautiful as our first stay the house is beautifully appointed with furnishings and all the comforts of home right down to drink shaker and hand mixer needed for me to make goodies to take to my families home nearby they also filled fridge with all sorts of goodies like eggs butter bagels juice pancake mix and strawberries just all sorts of things it really made us feel just like home can’t wait to go back again next year

We had a great time at Nicholas and Dana's place! It was both fun and relaxing. We really enjoyed the little beach, the dock and the kayaks. We caught some catfish and one tiny crab in the crab trap (and threw everything back in). It was nice to have the firepit and hot tub to use too. And, the kids really liked being downstairs in their own space. The only issues were that the key pad wasn't working to get in to the front door which was frustrating after a long drive and the grill was very slow to heat up and probably needs to be replaced. Overall, this home was a really good choice for us and we would stay again when visiting family in the area.

Andrea was so responsive from day 1 when I had questions about the house! We had 10 people in town for a wedding and her house was only 3 miles from the venue which was ideal! The house was clean and had nice little extra touches; the bottom floor was surprisingly spacious and perfect for hanging out! And the hot tub was a nice add also! Overall, it was a great experience!

Clare and Chris could not be nicer and easier to work with. My family/friends have been getting together since 1994 and have been to many great Airbnb's and VRBO's. My group could not stop telling me how great of a week we had. The primary features that were import to us which the house scored big are as follows: It has a dock (we arrived via boat), The kitchen is big, laid out for many "Cooks", The kitchen was open to the dining room table, The dining room table is open to the sitting areas, The pool was clean and inviting, The fire pit with seasoned firewood was a big hit for our group, All the beds were comfortable, The bedrooms were large and comfortable, The baths were clean, modern & large and The location to "What to do in Cambridge" is only 7-10 miles away. We made prearrangements: Richardson Maritime Museum to have a guided tour with David Williams on Friday and Spocott Windmill with George Radcliff. Both of these tours were fascinating. Our weekend was 5-Stars.

The location for this house is beautiful! We loved the private dock and spacious backyard. We stayed in late March so it was a bit cold some days but we still had a great time using the provided Kayaks and sitting on the dock and watching the beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect to have some s'mores nights around the firepit. The hosts were VERY responsive. The few times I had questions they replied within minutes and were very accomodating with our requests. They were very proactive with instructions and generously mentioned a foldable crib for the infant in our group - although we had our own that we used. The kitchen had all of the dinnerware and cookware that we needed for the meals that we made. The living areas were open and inviting. It was perfect for our group. One thing to watch for is the very steep driveway. It took a few times to get used to. We would definitely stay there again when we visit our family in the area.

Our stay at this beautiful riverside home was absolutely wonderful! The setting was peaceful and serene, with gorgeous views all around. The in-ground pool and hot tub were definite highlights! My son especially loved exploring the riverbank and searching for fossils and shark teeth, which made the experience even more special for him. The host was incredibly welcoming and thorough, taking the time to show us around the property and explain all the features of the home, which we really appreciated. Inside, the house was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The driveway leading up to the home was a bit bumpy, but nothing we couldn’t get used to and it was well worth it once we arrived at such a beautiful spot. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Fenghua’s home was easy to find, clean and stocked with things we would need. When we had one issue she communicated with us to solve the issue asap. Highly recommend visiting the pool which was a great benefit of staying there.

We thoroughly enjoyed this Beautiful River Home! Very clean with lots of amenities. The Host was very welcoming, informative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family mini vacation. The view was incredible, the house was stocked with all sorts of thoughtful extra touches. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards, tubes and beach area. Pam was so helpful and responsive. Everyone had a great time!

Enhanced up-to-date old school Chesapeake Bay waterfront vacation. Serene beautiful surroundings, fishing, crabbing, lounging, birding, napping on large screened in porch. Coffee on porch in morning watching crabbers work their lines. Osprey, Mallards, Brown Thrashers, Blue Birds, Bald eagles, Mocking birds, and a Whip-poor-will. Great for walking my dog, friendly neighbors. Fantastic sunsets, nearby wedding venues, comfortable beds, good air-conditioning. Everything worked and was clean. Good for families, girlfriend get aways, and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. Loved the fenced in yard, wished we had time to use the firepit, picnic table, TV/Mancave/Movie room and Tiki Bar! Hope to come back again. Thank you Matt and Jenn

Very private, peaceful place. Exceeded expectations of description. Very comfortable. It had a gas grill which made it great for preparing meals. Kitchen was very thoroughly stocked with wth everything needed. Comfortable beds. 4-5 Kayaks were great for the back bay (pond) area. It is quite shallow in spots for kayaking, but enjoyed seeing the bald eagles, blue heron, and ospreys. both water areas are tidal. Beach area was great for fishing and sitting in out. Kilmarnock was a 30 min drive. it was a nice area for eating and shopping. Would love to stay again. Great place if you want to stay put and unwind.

We had such a wonderful trip to the Bay! What a beautiful spot! Such lovely views of the bay- with sights of sailboats, ships, rays, and even dolphins one day! It felt very private and quiet: exactly what a vacation should feel like! We loved using the kayaks and searching for shells/shark teeth! The home itself was extremely clean and comfortable to be in. Full kitchen was super helpful when feeding a whole family! It was our first solo trip with small kids and was honestly wonderful in every sense! Colin was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. 10/10- would recommend to anyone!

The views are amazing!! Water view from main bedroom, living room, dining area AND kitchen. Plenty of space for every one. The bedrooms are very roomy. Host was very responsive and flexible with check in/check out. I highly recommend!

We had a great time. Even with a young baby, the location and the amenities provided made our first family trip an easy one. Response times were quick, and the hosts offered many great local suggestions. The house is close to the beach, but we could have enjoyed the house, fire pit, and yard just as easily.

This is our fourth? fifth? stay at Sundar's lovely spot. Private, gorgeous beach out back, great expansive views out front with ships in the distance. Home is very comfortable. We are always there in November so don't swim, or kayak, or fish. Just enjoy the comfortable home and the walks on the beach. Sundar is always very responsive and available. Kitchen has everything you need. Appliances are great. Beds are comfortable. No clutter of owner's cast-offs which many airbnb homes have. We will be back next year!!
