Come stay in our sweet, new guesthouse! This is NOT a basement space. It has a real bedroom (not a studio) & full kitchen. The Silver Star cottage is in our backyard but very separate with its own city lane access. Lots of beautiful wood and a cozy vibe. We are 1 block from the fabulous Alberta Arts St. but far enough away that it's quiet here. Perfect! Walk to shops & restaurants. Also easy to access anywhere in the city. There's a double-sized hide a bed couch in the airy living space.

Newly built guesthouse in highly desirable Grant Park. Beautiful and relaxing one level space with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, skylights and lots of natural light. All amenities: high speed internet, washer & dryer, full kitchen, memory foam mattress, TV, and private entrance with patio and cafe set. Easy check out! Our guest house was built brand new in 2018. It is clean (read the reviews!), quiet, private and a comfortable place to call "home" while visiting in Portland. All ameninities to make your stay easy including a full kitchen, compact washer/dryer and air-conditioning. Lots of natural light from 3 large skylights - sleep masks provided for late sleepers. The location has easy access to freeways, PDX airport (15 min.), and bike ways. Self check-in and free street parking always available.

The guesthouse is a private oasis in the city. It's surrounded by fruit trees and tall Chinese Mountain bamboo. It's a quick walk to Woodlawn Park, great coffee, a bakery, pizza, whiskey bar, a brewery, seasonal farmers market, and minutes from Alberta Arts District. The airy, open floor plan is filled with natural light, mixed textiles and warm woods. A cedar-surround outdoor shower and private 5x7 Finnish sauna lend to the spa-like setting. Guests say it’s hard to leave!

Spacious Guesthouse with Creative Style and Local Charm

Our recently built, light filled and spacious ADU sits quietly in our back yard and above my painting studio. It's an open, airy and modern loft-style home with reclaimed fir floors, shelving, vanity, and doors. The queen size bed has a super comfy natural latex foam mattress and in the loft there is a fold out sofa with a full size memory foam sleeping pad. It has a well appointed kitchen and washer and dryer for your use. I provide coffee and tea for your stay as well.

A bolthole created from passion by Kaemingk Collection, The Green Door PDX was designed to provide a unique respite from the energy of Portland while being conveniently located only minutes from downtown and popular shopping/eating districts. We have taken queues from Europe and built a traditional field cottage tucked into the landscape at the front of the property and surrounded it with mature greenery for an inviting welcome and ultimate privacy for our guests.
