Our Little House started its life as a 2-car garage, on the alley behind our home, that we transformed into our vision of a cozy and peaceful retreat. This light filled studio is professionally designed, features art from local artists and designers, and is equipped with heating & AC, making it a very comfortable spot to relax and enjoy Portland. You'll have a fully detached private guest house with a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor space and be two blocks away from the vibrant Alberta district.

Close access to public transport and the airport is a 12-minute drive.

You'll love staying in our comfortable, beautiful classic Portland home! You can walk to several restaurants and bars. It has easy access to downtown Portland by taking the bus, which is 1.5 blocks away or the MAX, which is a 12 minute walk for easy access all over the Portland/Vancouver area. Downtown Portland is a 10 minute drive. The Willamette Valley wine country is about an hour's drive away as well as the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and majestic Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens!

Cozy, beautiful casita! This is the only home of its kind in Portland. Artfully built in traditional timber-frame style, all of the joinery is wood-to-wood. Every timber was milled from our family land. Insulation is clay-straw and the walls are natural plaster. Enjoy a true refuge in the heart of NE Portland, walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, parks, Alberta Arts district & more. 12 minute drive to PDX, 15 to downtown. 'Mallory homestead' private garden apartment

A garden oasis and your own entrance to a private daylit ground floor apartment with a queen size bed, a fold out queen futon sofa bed in the common area and its own bathroom. Within easy walking /biking distance1.7 miles to hip strolling neighborhoods Alberta, Mississippi and Williams of north Portland. Light and airy with full kitchen half mile from train, 10 minute train ride from downtown. Note: stone path and 3 narrow steps to front door. You can see them in the photos .

Cozy Vintage Cottage in the Woods

The studio cottage is located in an east Portland neighborhood bordering the city of Gresham. It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

The Portland Sun House

This unique Mandala home is a stand-alone house with one bedroom in an ideal location for your staycation or adventures around Portland and Oregon adventures. This space features a unique layout with natural light, vaulted wooden ceilings, large skylights, a gas fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. The private outdoor courtyard with a firepit, seating and a hot tub for your comfort and relaxation. The garden surrounding the space really makes my home a quiet, peaceful escape.

Rose City Guest House

Light and bright private guesthouse located behind our main house, features hardwood floors, quartz counter tops, heated tile bathroom floor and a beautiful patio to sit and relax on during those gorgeous PDX days! We are located between the Hollywood and Beaumont neighborhoods so there are many restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment hotspots! Close proximity to downtown, the airport, as well as public transportation. Includes access to plenty of on street parking.
