Vibrant Vintage Home in Lively NW Next to Nature

Find inspiration in this redesigned historical 1928 bungalow. This cozy getaway features bright pops of color throughout, retro furnishings and decor, tasteful artwork, a manicured garden, and a patio lounge under a pergola. Your family will feel right at home in this tucked in nest perfectly located in Northwest Portland—close to The Pearl and Downtown. Walk to shops and restaurants, hike through Forest Park or mountain bike on beautiful woodsytrails. Unwind. Cook in a realkitchen. Enjoy homey comforts and handsome details. Live like locals! This Charmer is my home. When I’m not here, the place is all yours. I hope it will be your favorite home away from home in Portland. I live pretty simply, so when my son’s not here, it’s pretty easy for me to relocate to the apartment downstairs or take a jaunt to the beach. When you are here, you’re meant to relax and feel at home. I take my personal belongings with me or keep them in my office, which I lock upon leaving; so the drawers, closets, fridge, etc are free for you to use. What’s left are the conveniences. The kitchen is full of cookware and dishes. The spice cabinet and pantry drawers have staples that will shorten your shopping list and the fridge comes complete with an assemblage of condiments. Help yourself. There are also games, towels, linens, grooming necessities, pharmacy basics, iron and ironing board, household tools and gadgets — everything you'd like to leave at home but still want with you. This little house has two bedrooms with queen beds, kitchen with a table seating six, living room, bathroom with tub and shower and plenty of storage. There is a laundry room downstairs that I am happy to share with a little forewarning. The parking is on my back driveway. For outdoor spaces, there’s a balcony deck off the kitchen for relaxing with your morning coffee, and a shared patio space in the back yard if you prefer to sit by a fire surrounded by plants. My favorite is waking up with the garden, sitting in the Adirondack chair on my little front porch. During your stay I will likely be on the premises in a separate apartment or in my art studio- helpful when you need me but otherwise out of the way. The neighborhood is quiet and just right for people who like it that way. It’s a charming spot for your next Portland adventure! Parking is either steps away from the front door or on the driveway behind the house with access through the side door. The side door has a coded electronic lock which allows you to come and go at any hour without disturbing anyone. You have the house to yourselves though there is a separate apartment in the basement which has its own entry. Enjoy breakfast on your private balcony or join fellow renters on the shared patio. Tracie lives on the property and is available to assist by phone, text or in person as needed. If you're lacking something important like a specialty electronic gadget, personal item or office supply, let me know; I'm happy to help if I can! The property is located in the popular Alphabet District of NW Portland. This quiet haven is just on the edge of the action, with easy parking, access to nearby hiking trails, restaurants, shops, markets, and much more. Getting around is easy whether you prefer public transportation (bus stop is 4 blocks away), Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, rental car, bicycle or foot.
