Bang for your buck! This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this cabin in the past month. Rustic cabin off the beaten path. The stars at night were insane! Much needed escape from the city!

Heritage Cabin

CherylRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our 5th stay at Jessie's place. We enjoy the peace and quiet. Enjoying fishing in the pond. The grandkids enjoyed the paddle boat. It is close to Sugar Creek, the Amish Flea Market is only 10 mins. away. It is a good place to stay for the money. No TV, just family time. There is a window A/C unit up stairs and a large ceiling fan down stairs. What would make it even better is A/C unit down stairs and maybe add a hot tub. Nice area to cook out on the covered deck and there is a fire pit. All and all an awesome get away. We will book again. LOVE the fishing and sounds of farm animals. A+ rating from the Howerton Family.

JoJo’s Beach House

TimRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Joann (Jo Jo) is a wonderful hoast. When I contacted her in the morning prior to making one of our several day trips, about the need of a grab handle for the bathroom she had it there later on that same day when we returned. This was our 4th vacation trip to the Ashtabula / Geneva on the lake area. We've stayed at different rentals every time. This is the first time that neighbors interacted with us and made us feel welcome. We've already book this place for the same time period next year. A gentleman that lives at the end of the drive invited us to come down and experience the sunset any time we wanted. The house was just the right size for myself the wife and our fur baby. There is a fantastic gas grill there and I used it twice to grill dinner, I plan to bring a griddle plate for next year so I can cook up some magic for the neighbor's. We are so looking forward to September 2025 and another 7 relaxing days at J Jo's beach house. You won't go wrong if you book this cottage.

Off-Grid Cabin at Dutton Ranch

AbbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This stay was absolutely beautiful- it was so serene to walk around the property, view the lake, and view the cattle often the distance. The amenities, including outdoor grill, fireplace with available wood, outdoor dining, and patio seating made our stay even more special as we enjoyed a delicious meal while enjoying the scenery. My children loved exploring the area, viewing the lake, and running around the property. The beds were cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. I would highly recommend for a quiet and serene trip for a couple or family.

Boulder Ridge cabin, great hunting on site

EricRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Tim was a great host! The A-Frame was the perfect weekend getaway where I could rest and recharge. The house was on the back of their farm and hanging out on the back deck and by the fire in the evening was the best way to end the day. The property is also near some great hiking destinations as well. If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, you will love it here. I’d definitely recommend and I hope to come back soon!

Hobbit Dome (Hot Tub, Wineries/Amish Country near)

AnjaliRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My husband and I came to stay here for a long weekend for some peace and quiet. We are huge LOTR fans, so the theming and little details here were such a treat. The weather was beautiful during our stay and we got to watch the gorgeous sunset everyday. We cooked meals in the fully stocked kitchen, made smores over a fire, relaxed in the hot tub, and explored the trails around the dome. There are so many little details in the place that made it so cozy and enjoyable, like the fire place and a LOTR-themed coloring book. Everything we happened to need during our stay was provided, from an apple peeler, to a cupboard of extra blankets, to a box of bandaids. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. The place was clean and pristine. We enjoyed exploring the historic Roscoe Village and Killing Tree Winery. The host provided plenty of information about the area and recommendations. Wish we could have spent even more time here, but we hope to be back!

Tiny Home

Was a very private and intimate stay. It was tight, as expected, and that’s what we liked about it. Encouraged us to be outside or hanging with each other. Only ~10 minutes from town

Peaceful Mohican Retreat | Sauna | Walking Trails

NajRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a spectacular stay at Amie’s place! The home was beautiful and had plenty of space for everyone. Between walking the trails outdoors, going in the sauna, sitting by the bonfire, or laying in the sun - we had PLENTY to do!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay here, and we’re looking forward to visiting again! Amie is extremely kind and accommodating and the place is simply spectacular:)

MK Getaway

AshlynRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A treasure find! Love this place and can’t say enough how clean and comfortable it is. The family that owns this Air BnB really takes pride in how they run and maintain the space. I am shocked at all the people who wrote such positive comments and then only gave 4 stars - shame on them! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. They provide all the comforts of home with 5-star hotel standards. Everything in this place is clean and pristine. Will keep coming back for sure.

The Oculus Tinyhouse at Innisfree Farms

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My spouse, dog, and I had a great, albeit brief, 1-night stay at the Oculus Tinyhouse! We were traveling from DC to Chicago — our night at the Oculus was the perfect stopover after having started our day visiting Gettysburg National Park. (On that note, having free use of a Level 2 EV charger at the Oculus was awesome!) The tinyhouse is cozy, yet well-/efficiently-equipped and sits on a beautiful piece of land. We bought some provisions at the Public Market in downtown Wheeling (15-min drive from tinyhouse) & were able to cook a nice dinner with the basic kitchen equipment provided. (Side note: I strongly recommend checking out the Public Market, whether for groceries, to-go food, or made-to-order sandwiches. It’s a really cool place that’s set up as a nonprofit consignment farmer’s market & cafe.) Long story short: Definitely recommend the Oculus and Innisfree Farms — the hosts clearly know what they’re doing to ensure a pleasant & memorable stay!

Cozy home in safe & quiet neighborhood

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I wish I could have stayed at Marla's much longer than just one night. It was very cute, private, and a great location for my event nearby. I was at least able to spend some time on the patio and later on in the evening watch the sunset. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean and I was grateful to not have to do anything for check out because I had to leave in a bit of a hurry. So that took the stress out of that for me. Would highly recommend!

The Boathouse. A Waterfront Retreat on East Harbor

KatlynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Brad’s place was incredible welcoming and appealing. Everything was exactly as expected and the bed was extremely comfortable!! This was a solo weekend for myself to get away for a bit so the only downside was how loud it was due to the neighbors and fisherman, but would definitely stay again! I can’t wait to come back with the husband and kids! Thanks Brad and family for a wonderful weekend and opening your boathouse up to me!!
