We had an amazing stay. Our messages were with Tom who was incredibly helpful, gave us so much information on how to find it, checking in and lots of recommendations. Thank you! It's a lovely quiet location and perfect for a break away to escape a busy life. Would highly recommend and would 100% book again.

Great little place for glamping. We chose to go here for our daughters first glamping trip for her birthday and she loved it. I mentioned this when booking and the host decorated inside of the tent with balloons and a banner which was a really lovely touch. Our bell tent came in an enclosure with a bbq / fire pit and a log burning hot tub which was super relaxing. Our stay was only short but had everything we needed. This was also close to Stockeld park in Wetherby which is a great day out with kids. Really lovely stay and would love to return in the future :)

What fun we had! Stick to short trips on little roads at first, then you can really enjoy the whole experience. The hand over and personal introduction to Indie was perfect. Lots of great pictures. Would love to repeat the trip!

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

A really lovely experience. Never done anything like this before so wasn’t sure what to expect. We had a warm welcome from the hosts who answered all our questions. Liz was very informative before our arrival. Murdock is so much fun, everyone should give it a go x

This was a get away for my partners 21st, our first time in a bell tent and it certainly has opened our horizons to this style of getting away more. The bed was really comfy, the shower was well looked after, clean and great temperature. The logs were in fast supply, even on a cold/windy night you are warm and toasty. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would recommend this place to anyone. We got given great recommendations in the area by Kirsty and was super accommodating. The view in a morning was unbeatable. Was a really great escape from the typical 9-5. Thanks again Kirsty 🙂

Just returned from the big yellow caravan, absolutely loved it, beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. The accommodation was as specified and will definitely be returning soon. I can't recommend this place enough, the hosts were polite and friendly.

Dee has done a brilliant job creating a lovely, clean, welcoming, comfortable place in a small space. The caravan was very clean and smelt lovely, difficult to keep it at that level I would think as a caravan but Dee did a brilliant job! She was conscientious of dog guests, providing a handy long line attachment for the caravan and water bowl along with treats on arrival. The instructions were clear for the usage of the caravan. The location was peaceful at the time of year we went, with an excellent Taphouse serving pizza just a 10 minutes walk down the road, with beautiful views of the Abbey. Whitby is a 20-30 minute walk with loads to do and see in the town. We really enjoyed our stay?

A lovely tipi tent and hot tub it was soo cosy and warm even though we were outside 100% better but always call before booking as they can help with choosing the best room

We had a great stay. Chris was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. The location was idyllic...we arrived to see hares and partridges in the field. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a BBQ and watching the sunset. Tent was very comfortable. Our girls (10, 7) loved the cabin bed and said they had the best time! Thank you to Chris. We hope to be back again.

absolutely nothing NOT to like the bus is amazing clutter free and clean hot tub BBQs outside area with every thing down to beach hut including beach toys huge barn with games in 10mins to beach , lovely day outside bus in deckchair watching sun set childyhad best birthday weekend ever definitely we will be back Gladys is are besties for life 👌😘

Thank you so much to Gary and family for a perfect stay, we wanted something different for my best friends birthday and it was so lovely! Gary was so helpful from the beginning, even put out banners and prosecco for when we arrived, we loved being surrounded by the animals and the view from the adorable caravan was so relaxing. So much thought and care was put into every single aspect of our stay and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family, we hope to come back at some point soon :)

I just want to say a big thank you to Jo and her dad for building a fully off grid shepherds hut that is beautiful inside and out. We booked very last minute due to an issue where we were camping, Jo quickly accepted our request and communicated with us in a prompt and friendly manner. We arrived at Jo’s hut at nearly 8pm and she went above and beyond making sure we were looked after and was waiting for us to show us the basics which was a lovely touch. The hidaway hut has been crafted in a way that you have everything you need should you forget anything. Jo is extremely friendly and attentive and will make sure you have a lovely stay! Although it was a short stay of only a few hours we had such a good nights sleep and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Michelle was a lovely host - super accommodating and made us feel at home instantly. If you’re looking for a place to relax and get away from it all, this is the perfect spot. The hot tub is incredible, too!

This place is truly magical and even better than the photos! It feels so special. Gary is an excellent host and communicator, meeting us to guide us to the property. Hot tub was lovely and we used the outdoor kitchen and BBQ. I’d recommend taking a picnic blanket so you can sit anywhere around the lake. The views are stunning.

I loved my stay at baby Moon.. very accommodating host who let us check in super late as it was booked on a whim.. wish we could of stayed longer!

My wife and I love the outdoors, so this was the perfect opportunity to experience the great British countryside and truly switch off. From the moment we arrived, we could see the thought that had gone into the location of the hut. The personal touches and the interior design (the colours, materials, features), the shepherds hut has been thoughtfully designed to make you feel like you’re part of the environment (while keeping cosy and warm!) Lying in bed, with a coffee, looking out over unobstructed views of a pine forest was a highlight. Another highlight was a walk that Harriet suggested, where wild garlic and bluebells cover the forest floor and valleys open up before you, providing a perfect spot for a picnic. If you love being off the beaten track too, we highly recommend this delightful shepherd's hut!

Would recommend and will stay again was a little find for a break away for me and son as he likes camping. Had everything that we needed and beds were comfy slept really well.

My children age 4 & 7 absolutely loved staying here, toasting marshmallows & just being outside. Great views and great hosts.
