This one bedroom annex is part of a 200 year old barn conversion. Based in the Nidderdale area of outstanding natural beauty, the accommodation has its own private access and garden with seating area, internally the annex can accommodate 2 people and one friendly dog,unfortunately we can't accept Labradors due to the shedding of there coats, (please ensure you register your dog when booking). Enjoy crisp autumn mornings with a hint of early morning mist across the fields and the sea on the horizon. Wrap up warm and step outside with your dog to enjoy your exclusive dog field, then crunch through fallen leaves, wander forest trails and discover quiet valleys and windswept beaches. Find a cosy country pub for lunch before heading home to Woodpeckers Cottage. As dusk falls, put your feet up, enjoy the warmth and stillness, then step outside to marvel at the North York Moors Dark Skies.

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton.

The village has two pubs both serving tasty home cooked food and real ales.

Situated on the A59 between Harrogate and Skipton , this property has ample free parking. It is close to great walks with the reservoirs of Fewston, Swinsty and Thruscoss on our door step all within a few minutes drive . Further afield is the amazing Cow and Calf rocks at Ilkley and the beautiful Brimham Rocks just of the road to Pately Bridge.. The towns of Otley, Pately Bridge, Ilkley, Skipton and Harrogate are all close by and offer great independent shops, cafes and eateries .
