Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Super popular Äijä dog's unique log cabin in Kilpisjärvi! Ideal for couples, from the cottage to the views of Kilpisjärvi. The store and restaurant are 1.5 km away. Cottage with underfloor heating. In the kitchen, coffee maker, kettle, oven/stove, extractor hood and refrigerator. Pre-made beds, towels, and final cleaning are included. Note! The upstairs sleeping area is less than 120cm high, so the listing isn't suitable for people with limited mobility! The stairs are also not childproof.

It is a few minuts to the bus who takes you to the senter of Tromsø (10-15 min. by bus) and you can also walk (30-40 min)

Cottage is 35 m2. It contains livingroom, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. Cozy with woodstove. Kitchen contains fridge, stove and freezer and all you need of tools for making food. You can wash your clothes in a building besides. Make your campfire outside. Enjoy the view from balcony. You can rent ski and snow shoes. You can drive right to the door. The cottage is 90 km from Tromsø airport and 35 km from Bardufoss airport.
